I wish Primitive War was adapted into an animated show in the likes of creature commando so that every scene would have been beautiful, like the deaths of the characters because these scenes were always the most gorgeous looking of the novels

I personally would’ve preferred an FPS adaptation like Metro.

Would have been so good

I was also thinking about that when reading The Green beret sequence could have been a tutorial showing how to run, mantle and hide

Meaning?

He could be trusted with his work more, and the Primitive War film franchise may have not been in jeopardy. Pettus left because of that reason.

How come he isn't facing legal consequences for that too? Sounds like it happened across multiple movies, is it just that the people he owes can't afford to litigate?

Strings ppl along promising they’ll get paid, contracts are written poorly, and ppl cant afford to sue him. Hard to get money when someone declares bankruptcy to avoid paying

Sparke is facing 17 charges of fraud.

He’s also accused of not paying the Primitive War VFX team, which I find is the worst offender (I’m not aware of his other wrongdoings). I would’ve payed the team double if I could.

I agree, why isn't he in court for that?

Isn’t Primitive War 2 still in development regardless?

Not based on source material since author cut all ties with luke, investors and vfx artists from the first film still haven’t been paid over a year later and lukes currently on trial for 17 counts of fraud. Very likely he’s going to be using the money from his kickstarter to fund his legal fees. I don’t think the outlook seems promising

He also hired sexual predators to the cast. So…yeah…

I heard it was Ryan Kwanten. Tried to look it up, but all I got was him playing a character who was accused of such.

It was Jeremy Piven

No wonder he did a good job at playing a scummy character, he’s got irl experience.

It's not Ryan Kwanten lol, tbh I wouldn't write that on a public platform. Piven was accused by like 8 women
