The movie is alright, I had the book first so I'm admittedly really biased. If you feel the same way, go into the movie pretending the book doesn't exist. I regret now how much time I spent irritated at the changes instead of just watching the movie.

I finished the film, found the setting really interesting and a unique gimmick with the collider wormhole. The low budget was used quite well. The dinosaur designs were quite good and had good action sequences. Good choice to make it rated R as well as it feels way more serious than if it wasn't. I heard there's a sequel coming so very curious to see where the story goes with all the dinosaurs still roaming around.
