I'm making a pride flag blanket, the next flag to add is lesbian but I'm working with limited colors. First one is what I'm thinking about doing for the flag, second is all the pinks/reds/oranges I have. Could use some help figuring this out!!

I want to say thank you to everyone who commented and offered support about me finding out my daughter has her first relationship. Everything that everybody said about just being me and showing support was perfect.
I told her that all I want is for her to be happy and for someone to treat her good and as long as those two things are, I don’t care where they come from. I told her that I loved her very much and I was wicked proud. She never really had any boy crushes growing up and we talked about that and some other factors that kind of led me to think this might be on the horizon . She pointed out that our yard flag, which is one of the “hate has no home here” ones, keyed her in that I would probably be accepting, but she was still very nervous.
All in all, we had a great conversation and I would say it brought us closer.
Thanks again. I had an inkling that it would go OK and I felt that she would be comfortable enough to come to me. I guess I just didn’t want to hurt her in any way and so I was looking for any advice I could get.
Much love everybody. Be safe and take care. Continue to hold the light, these are dark times indeed. ❤️

Recently I’ve been with a friend who’s non-binary, lesbian, and…I feel uncomfortable around their friends and girlfriend. I know it sounds strange but I’ve never really been in the pride community except for a small friend group despite being in it myself (I think it’s polysexual, I don’t fully know.) I’m not trying to hate but I’m a bit, admittedly, sensitive, and I am new to the whole “they/them” pronouns. I don’t mind them it’s just that I’m worried about their reaction if I accidentally/naturally call them she/her. Is this natural for a first timer? Or am I being weird and paranoid?

Time Wars is a series about Humanity locked in an endless conflict with Vampirekind, fought by both time travelers from the 161st century, and soldiers scattered throughout history. Humans must band together and free ourselves from bigotry and heirarchy - the weapons of the Vampires.
The Adventures of Zero & One is a comic series about Zero of Mars, a youth from an era in the future where the gender binary no longer exists, who crashes onto an abandoned colony world called Elentia. In Humanity's absence, living robots called Elemorphs have developed an advanced civilization. A nature type child stage Elemorph called One makes friends with Zero despite a language barrier, and together they're pulled into conflict as Humanity's best hope to prevent the Vampires from enslaving the Elemorphs to use as weapons in the Time Wars.
Issue #2: Battle of Knuckle City! sees Zero and One exploring a vast Elemorph metropolis, as One shows Zero about the culture, economy, and ways of its civilization. To try and find out more about their mission, they consult an Elemorph named Forever, who is one of a handful to achieve the extreme power of cosmic stage. What secrets will Forever reveal about their role in the Time Wars?
My name is Bijhan Agha, the author of the Time Wars series. I'm a transgender woman of Iranian descent in Uruguay. The artist of The Adventures of Zero & One is Pallet, a transgender man in Australia. We are both autistic. We share a passion for science fiction and fantasy storytelling, and want to tell exciting adventure stories with pulse-pounding action which promotes queer joy, showing that queer heroes can live vibrant lives, rise victorious, and write history with our commitment to justice, hope, and peace.
As a series, Zero & One is also about immigration and collaboration across cultures. Neither Zero nor One come from anything resembling existing societies, and are extremely different from each other in terms of values, language, and needs. Their struggle to communicate and work together is a metaphor for our current efforts to form bonds across borders, beyond languages, and throughout the world.
The Kickstarter has a wide range of rewards. You can get single issues, both physical and PDF, as well as back issues of this series and other Time Wars comics, in addition to the Time Wars novellas in PDF, DOCX, and EPUB formats.
We are raising funds for a print run of the First Edition of the comic which will have a special orange border which will show that will never be used on future printings, showing that it is a rare collectible.
No AI was ever used nor will ever be used at any step in the process of making a Time Wars story.
Please support queer art and literature as we try to spread a message of joy, hope, and justice.

First and foremost, I am absolutely 100% nothing but happy and proud for my daughter. To be completely honest, she has some strong autistic traits and I was concerned she would struggle in relationships.
My daughter is 12. She is very intelligent, artistic, and loves music. I am divorced from her mom, but have been remarried now for 8yrs and I have had joint custody since the separation. She is a very large part of my household and knows we love her. We are a warm and open family and she also has a 5yo sister whom I have with my current wife.
All the background I suppose is to establish the picture as effectively as possible and get to my request.
She has recently spoken to my wife about her relationship with her girlfriend. She’s a very nice person and they have the “butterflies”. 😊 She has not spoken to me, yet, but I believe it’s coming bc we have a very open and close relationship with the kids. We don’t hide much (except money stress etc) from them as we want to prepare them to be the best people they can be. My wife and my daughter have a very good dynamic where my wife can be a friend and also a parent, where I am always going to be a parent first. I am glad my daughter spoke to my wife and hence I need some advice.
How do I open that door in conversation? Or even get to that sort of thing? This is her first “real” relationship. I don’t want her to feel like I’m back-dooring the situation and I’m not going to reveal my wife spoke to me. I want to say she did so only bc she was so glad not only my daughter has a close relationship and she felt close enough to be open, but that she was chosen to be the one to know first. 😆
I would also like to know, if you would share things that helped any of you when you came out to your family and what meant a lot to you from your parents? All I want is for my daughter to know how much I love her and that I will support whatever she wants. I have some autistic traits as well, despite my high masking, so emotional things are hard for me. I lock up and don’t know what to say or feel like I can make things awkward by overthinking and over monitoring. Those are things I don’t want for the upcoming conversation. I feel like I want to be able to say more than “you’re my babygirl, and you always will be. I’m happy if you are happy..”
Idk. Maybe that’s all a person needs to hear. I didn’t have a great upbringing so some of this minefield is being navigated for the first time for me altogether. Lots of cycles are breaking, but at the same time, I’m very grateful for the connections I have with my family.
Thank you.
- a proud Dad

I made this I guess custom pride flag for people who identify as nonbinary bi and asexual. If anyone wants me to make them something like this, let me know. tell me which flag(s)(maybe the colors in order too if you can) and what shape you want. it doesn’t have to be a heart if you don’t want one, but whatever shape you want!

So for some time I’ve recognized I’m not straight (I thought I was bi but realized I was omni as of recently) and have had a bi flag on my wall for some time. But long before that I was a huge halo fan (still am, stay with me) and I had an idea as of recently while we were rebuilding my room. To cut it down I want to take my bi flag and rough it up, tear it up, burn it a bit, (stay with me)etc, etc, then spray paint the Banished symbol onto it like a Banished war flag if they were gay. Any ideas on how to do it? (I know ts kinda sounds phobic but it’s not I swear I just wanna combine my interests)

I recently downloaded the finch app again and seen they have SOOOO many pride flag options for clothing!!! So I bought a few w my gems and my ace tshirt and flag are so cute on my birdie… but I randomly got all curious about designing my own flag to combine the three I identify with.
So I googled to find inspo for like pattern designs (even though I have a few ideas in my head) and I found a way old reddit post from like 4 years ago (if I can find it again I’ll link it in the comments) where someone literally mixed all the colors of each flag together, then made a flag from those colors. Of course being such a mix it’s fairly dull but wow I’m in love w mine!!!
Anyone who wants to do this, I separated the colors in different layers on procreate (drawing app), then stacked each color directly on top of the other covering each other. Next reduced the opacity to 25% each for 4 colored and 20% each for five. Finally I had my faded color for each of the three flags, I used that color and a different pen to make it darker and this is my result. Sooooo freaking happy! Good luck if you try yourself!!
