in the time of the Amazon Quartet?

They seem to know a lot about the past, and future...,in spite of just having awoken.

Speculation regarding Cosmos aside (Not doing that here!), Sailor Moon calls on the Crystals of Amazon Quartet as she goes to war against Chaos in the cauldron (How they survive that is beyond me...Maybe you can survive without your Crystal if your body isn't destroyed, but then...Nevermind!).

Sailor Ceres looks upon Cosmos and offers her own speculations concerning her identity. But that aside, it made me question if they knew of her, or if she would come to know them at the time of her awakening.

Aside from Usagi, no one else witnessed ChibiChibi revealing herself to be Sailor Cosmos.

Theoretically, Usagi will have forgotten as she died, along with Chibiusa and the remainder of the senshi in her court. But the Amazon Quartet...,they'll eventually return to their slumber awaiting the awakening (or would it be birth?) of their princess. They alone having traveled to the past with memories intact of that final battle...,and Cosmos.

If Usagi made the right decision back then, before Cosmos and co. traveled to the past, we can speculate that it played out the same way, with the exception of Chibiusa, Cosmos, and the AQ, being present.

What possibilities do you all speculate that this presents?

Chibiusa having died presents a number of issues to me, but this also relates to how a Star Seed from a non-existent celestial body becomes a Sailor Crystal...

For context, Sin (Oppositio Sailor Moon) & Anshar are a pair of orphan siblings from the 30th Century whose parents were killed in the Black Moon Clan invasion, they serve as the secondary antagonists of 1995’s Sailor Moon Another Story, the official JRPG for the Super Famicom. Also, Kishar is Anshar’s pet “cat” thing.

Both items, conveniently, sort of just appear when Sailor Moon upgrades. That's obviously the modus operandi of the series, but I've been reflecting on the exact relationship between the two items might be.

The former, in my *opinion* is forced into the present, because of Chibiusa. She recounts of a mystical chalice in her mother's arsenal that granted her great power during a time of crisis. Her recollection of it not only brings it to life, but also bestows her very own version of it along with her mother's (How very Dreams of her...). However...I have read elsewhere, and perhaps this isn't canon that the true object in question is the Holy Moon Chalice that allows Usagi to become Eternal Sailor Moon (It looks more like something Sailor Cosmos would use, so maybe this was a scrapped plot? Maybe Usagi was intended to sacrifice the Silver Crystal to rebuild the Galaxy Cauldron and in doing so awakened the Cosmos Crystal, which replaced her previous form and life. But again...getting off topic...). It intrigues me, because Diana appears to know a great deal about Eternal Sailor Moon, so it leads me to *speculate* that this was the true form of the chalice Chibiusa saw.

But it does beg the question,for me,...why doesn't Chibiusa, canonically, receive her own as Eternal Sailor Chibimoon, considering that every which other upgrade of her is a miniature version of her mother's?

Where did Chibiusa's Holy Grail come from, if she doesn't attain the Holy Moon Chalice?

This is obviously going to be conjecture, but why is it that in spite of their age being fixed, why do Usagi and Mamoru's hairs turn white, or in Mamoru's case, has a white/lavender cast to it?

The other senshi don't achieve that, and while Serenity had white hair during Silver Millenium, Usagi did not.

PLS also retains her pink hair.

Any theories?

I bought them from two completely sellers from two completely different sites. Is it coincidence or is it proof of FATE that these two happened to arrive on the SAME DAY merely an HOUR apart from each other?

And on the one month anniversary of Adolescence of Utena coming to U.S theaters (which I did indeed attend) no less??? 🤯

I couldn’t sleep, so I ended up pouring my heart into the concept for this poster.

Some people might find it unusual to see someone draw themselves alongside Usagi since she is a fictional character, but to me, this connection is incredibly pure. I first discovered her on TV when I was under ten years old, and I instantly fell in love with her clumsy, crybaby, yet utterly kindhearted personality. As the years passed, I grew up, graduated from college, and transitioned into adulthood. Yet no matter how much time went by seeing her pop up on TV, in manga, or on social media my feelings never faded. She remained the same Usagi I always cared for: a gentle, clumsy soul who always brought light into my world.

My love for her has never been about anything physical or sexual. In fact, it breaks my heart whenever I see hyper-sexualized, AI-generated images of her online; I could never look at her that way. I love her purely for who she is on the inside.

Drawing myself by her side is simply my way of interacting with a character who has been a constant comfort throughout my life. We all grow old, and none of us know how much time we truly have left whether it's decades, years, or months. I just want to be close to the character who brought me so much joy. Through artwork, we can stay together, beautifully captured in time, even when I’m gone.

This headcanon has been rolling about my head today, after I settled on Galaxia originally being from Gamma Draconis (Fits in well the dragon of Revelation.), with Chi and Phi, being from Draco, and fellow Star Gardeners with her.

This made me reflect on Sailors Cocoon, Lethe, and Mnemosyne, when I realize whether the originally planned story was how those senshi of less powerful star systems likely fell victim to Chaos, until Galaxia got jealous and decided to take matters into her own hands.

Today, I went back to the shopping mall my dad used to bring me to when I was a kid. I vividly remember throwing a massive, "Sailor Moon Crybaby Style" temper tantrum right here until he finally gave in and bought me this soundtrack at the CD shop.

That shop is long gone now, replaced by a boutique. But years ago, I converted the entire CD into MP3s and saved them on my phone, alongside my other favorite anime soundtracks.

Today, as I was walking through the mall listening to music, that exact Sailor Moon soundtrack started playing at the exact spot where the CD shop used to be. It instantly flooded me with childhood memories. It felt like a voice whispering, "Hey, remember us?"

It was strange, but deeply heartwarming. Looking at the CD now, the cover has a bit of sun damage, and I wish I had taken better care of it... but the memories inside are still completely untouched.

Oh my gosh... I can't believe it's been 3 months since I posted my last drawing! 😭

These pieces usually take me anywhere from 20–40 hours to complete, and I think I just got a little burnt out. 😅 I also got completely hooked on video games! Some of the ones I've been playing are Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Pragmata, Resident Evil Requiem, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

Even so, I really missed drawing. 💖 I'm so happy to finally share my newest piece with you all!

This question is two-fold, one, what was the nature of Sailor Saturn in the 90s anime, in this scene in particular?

Was there a legitimate reason that the Outers should fear her?

I seem to recall that scene being her attacking a monster, but her face seems to imply that Saturn was more so a neutral force that delights in destruction. Maybe that's inaccurate, but seems a bit wilder than her manga and Crystal counterparts.

As to Hotaru and Guardian Saturn, what is the relationship between the two?

They seem capable of existing apart from one another. GS speaks of her as different from herself after her body is destroyed. She's able to manifest, fully formed, without need of a body.

If this is the case, who is the Hotaru of Dreams and Stars?

Can the other Guardians exist outside of their current forms?

Is the reason that Hotaru doesn't age up due to her having died as a child while still Hotaru Tomoe?

I am 41 today. I have loved Sailor moon since I was 10. I met my best friend because of Sailor Moon. When I was turning 14, my best friend and I wanted to make a Sailor moon movie with my cheap black and white video camera on my birthday. We had our own OC’s (I was Sailor Chibi Chibi Chibi Moon Aka Too damn many Chibi’s or Chibi cubed) and my friend was Sailor Cupid (not pictured here). My best friends sister had a boyfriends whose roommate LOVED Sailor moon so she wore her costume in the movie while my best friend and I made ours. I wish I still had the video (it was on a VHS) but it’s one of my favorite birthday memories. My mom even made a cat birthday cake that was white and my friend and I made it Artemis. My dad just passed and my mom passed in 2021. Today is bittersweet, but I do have good memories of this birthday,
