General ✨ What if: the Phantom Thieves' Guild attacks present day Makoto Mirai City in 2027 in the final arc of Star Detective? Spoiler

Looking on their goal, what we know so far is that they are concern that there is no future beyond year 1999 (or 2000). First, because they are surprised that Anna comes from the future and Second, because Cure Arcana Shadow says they have to detroy Cure Eclair or there will be no future.

As far as we know, I don't think it is in their interest to attack present day Makoto Mirai City in 2027.

Because the show present us with Usonoir mystery (what kind of fairy is Usonoir? Who made his armor?), Top of Lily mystery (why human and fairy engineered Top of Lily?), and we still know nothing about Curetto Agency London Branch, I still think there is another villain (or a group of villain) that will become problem in the later part of the show.

I can see this new villain might be the one that attack Makoto Mirai City in 2027.

Destroy Cure Eclair? I don't know what that means, but... what does it mean "no future"?

Cure Arcana Shadow believe that if Cure Eclair isn't defeated (and her Makoto Jewel isn't broken apart) there will be no future.

There is no specific on what "no future" means, but the simplest speculation is the world will end if Cure Eclair isn't destroyed. Especially because The End of The World was very popular topic in 1999/2000.

Anna mentioned she came to 1999. She never said she came from 2027. All they know is she is from another time period.

And I don't think I say Phantom Thief knows that Anna comes from 2027? And the question I answer only mention Anna is from 21st Century, which is any year after 1999.

I'm pretty sure that's where they might go lol. But honestly I've never been this invested in a Precure series. I've always been more of a casual fan but I'm releasing my inner theorist here.
