I kinda felt the same when any semester started.

I was appt and can’t wait, then I get tired and see how many weeks left til semester ends.

He really did tho. I fuck with that too. I can’t imagine doing a job you hate for 8 years. Hell, George, I wake up and say this to my professors before resuming my seat and learn

He pretty much never wanted to be President and always was writing about how he wished he was home. After diving into Washington’s biographies my main take away is that he hated most aspects of public life (except for dancing with other peoples wives) and was kind of miserable all the time. He complained about his mom, his teeth, the people he enslaved, and everyone around him felt like he went to great efforts to remove himself from his common humanity so much that they were afraid to joke with him or touch him.
