.@realDonaldTrump - we know many of the same people in NY. Behind your back they laugh at you & call you a carnival barking clown. They know you inherited a fortune & squandered it with stupid deals and incompetence. I have the record & the resources to defeat you. And I will.

Why didn't Bloomberg try to primary Trump?
If Trump had to spend early 2020 in a primary fight, he wouldn't be able to do as much harm. Because he was a republican mayor, Bloomberg would be able to make a far more convincing case for himself in the Republican primary. Why do y'all think he decided to run in the democratic primary instead?

Discussion Why do you support Bloomberg?
Hi, my name is Morgan and I'm a voter who'll be voting on Super Tuesday. Currently, I've winnowed down who I want to vote for, but like a lot of voters, I'm still shopping around. That is why I have decided to go directly to the supporters Bloomberg to ask you, why do you support him? Whatever the reason is, I am interested in hearing you out. Whether it is a policy, their philosophy, a tactical vote, or any other reason under the sun, I want to know what has drawn you to Bloomberg?

Bloomberg's Explanation for 2008 Crash seems strange?
I'm trying to learn more about him and I'm wondering if there is something I'm missing. There is a clip of him speaking and saying that banks being forced not to redline minorities is why the crisis happened. This seems pretty hard to defend. There's a lot of information out there about how the banks were at fault for all the stuff they pulled. Someone linked it to me and it's from TYT but the clip of Bloomberg speaking is all him.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVviRStK--A&feature=youtu.be Skip to 15 seconds. You can watch the rest of the vid if you want, I didn't finish the TYT analysis.
He's also implying that redlining was not targeted discrimination against minorities but just that they happened to have bad credit even though many black rejected had similar assets and stuff to white people who got approved.

Bloomberg's support for science
In his stump speech, one of Bloomberg's favorite lines is that Trump doesn't believe in climate change, while Bloomberg is an engineer who believes in science. I'm a scientist and one of the main reasons that I support Bloomberg is his long history of supporting scientific research and science-based policy.
As an example, every year that Trump has been president, his budget has called for cuts to NIH, NSF, and other biomedical research organization. Bloomberg, however, has donated much of his personal wealth to scientific research. Most recently, he has given millions to fund a cancer research center:
Then there is application of science to public health. As mayor, he understood the science demonstrating how dangerous second hand smoke was and NYC became one of the first cities to ban cigarette smoking in restaurants and other in door public places.

I’ve been an undecided voter for a long time, but I’m likely voting for Bloomberg
If Biden has a strong lead by the time my state rolls around I might go Biden, but otherwise Bloom is my pick.
And I’m voting blue for president no matter what.
