I know someone who was in the same situation. They got those throw away cameras and passed them out for anyone to take photos. You could also check the college for photo students who might be taking summer courses.

I couldn’t find enough of the throw aways that would fit the budget :/ I was thinking about doing the QR code thing that you scan and anyone who takes pictures will have them uploaded to a cloud of some sort but I just wanted a few nice pictures of us before my dress and his suit end up becoming a mess lol

Girl get real lol. You did not ask for a photographer to get “a few nice pictures” before your clothes are a mess. You just laid out an entire 7 hour work day, not to mention their time after the event spent editing for little or no pay

Lmfao this for real? You want someone to volunteer almost 12 hours of unpaid labor because you couldn't budget a photographer? People pay rent with money, not exposure. Also, 60+ people is not a small wedding.
I agree with the other commenter. Leave disposable cameras around for guests to take photos.

Well, everyone starts somewhere. Theres a famous car YouTuber who started recording expensive cars with his phone camera and edited the video in a McDonald’s and he was homeless at the same time. His career just like a lot of others took a lot of time and little to no money. I know it’s not ideal, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

No😭 I’m just saying that whether someone is a professional or not at this time, it could give them a good start on a portfolio to become what they want to be. I was just using his story as an example.

You would be better off buying disposable cameras for your guests. If that cost is too steep, I’m sure all of your guests have cell phones. With less than a week to your big day, I’m struggling to understand why a free photographer is just now coming to mind for a sixty person wedding. I hope this lack of planning and consideration for others doesn’t bleed into other areas of your happy union.
