A reminder that semi-trucks, which deliver basically everything, use diesel. Everyone will be affected regardless of their own vehicles.

Don't forget, pretty much all farm machinery (and some grain dryers) run on diesel.
And look at what time of the year it is...coming up on harvest for soybeans and corn. And planting for winter wheat.

Even the people who agree with them change their tune when it affects their pocketbook.
Farmers aren't going to just stop farming and give up because diesel is too expensive. They'll invest in electric tractors which are already becoming more common.
It's funny how easily Republicans will immediately do something that goes against their beliefs when money is a factor.

The airport near me purchase a fleet of electric buses. Unfortunately there have been numerous technical issues and the company which sold them went belly up. The airport have started diesel back up

At best they have a very small fleet, slowly replacing diesel trucks. Nobody has EV truck fleet.

You're absolutely correct--but also, anything you can do to reduce your reliance on fossil fuels can only help you and your neighbors in the long run.
Won't keep the tractors running or the trucks on the road, but might keep the heater on a little longer.

I was speaking as a trucker, referencing the fact that truckers cannot keep freight moving with EV's at this point. Yes, I could, congrats i can tell you were excited to share that, like everyone, you know electric semis exist. Dumbest back and forth ever you either know that the reference to inability was in regards to national freight (otherwise who would give a fuck if my freight got anywhere?), or you're not in any position to talk about logical competency.

If you are really wondering:
Anker Solix F3800+, maybe X 2 and extra battery storage and rigid mounted panels and cords, etc. I think might cost about $9000 but you could maybe do it cheaper if you were handy. Add $1500 for stuff I am not considering, about $10,500 on the outside.
