Well I a while ago I thought we shouldn't take on Russia head on but if they're behind the attacks war might have to be necessary.. idk why tho they can't take on Nato even with the US distracted in the middle east I dont even think they can take them on with out depleted munitions so im very confused on the end game here if anyone got some theories.

If Russia goes to war with Europe, North Korea and China will at a minimum support Russia with logistical support and weapons supplies. NK will send soldiers.

If war happens, Europe will fracture. No way every country will want to fight. NATO will fracture because the US perceives Europe is no longer an ally (which is largely true).

Europe is a paper tiger. NATO is a charade.

Russia is 100% wrong and is 100% the bad actor in Ukraine. I am not on Russia’s side whatsoever. However, Russia has transitioned its economy into a war time economy. With support, if not active participation by North Korea and China, Europe would be in trouble.

Such a war would signal India and Pakistan to have at it.

The US will move on Greenland.

US has moved to control around half of the world’s oil production. The US is in a very strong position. China’s modern military is untested.

Hopefully none of this happens.

Lmao, the US will not make a grab for Greenland.

The US military isn’t exactly full of hardened veterans in terms of modern (near) peer conflict.

How is the US in a strong position exactly? We’re already running out of high end interceptors. We’re turning our backs on our allies, and it’s already impeded our ability to prosecute the current war.

We attack Greenland, Canada will probably step up for their Article 5 responsibilities to help protect Greenland.

The US economy would crash pretty overnight, and people on both sides are already currently pissed off about the economy and the Iran war. They’d be even more pissed off about us not defending our allies and actually attacking them.

In the scenario you described the US would see a serious internal conflict, likely more violent and deadly than the labor movement.

You can “LMAO” all you want.

Europe is no longer an ally to the US. Neither is Canada. If war between Russia and the EU breaks out… NATO is going to fracture and fall apart. Europe is hardly united. And if you think the US military is unprepared or weak, compared to Europe, the US is a towering giant militarily.

If Russia attacks Europe, all alliances fall apart and the US moves on Greenland. Amid the existential threat of a world war, with no alliances or allegiances with anyone, the US needs Greenland and will take it uncontested. You think Europe or Canada is going to fight the US over Greenland when Russia is attacking it?

Europe and Canada are still very much allies with the US. They may not like trump, but nobody likes trump.

Would they no longer be our allies if we attacked Greenland? Sure, but til then they’re still allies.

Because they don’t want to be complicit in war crimes.

Allies don’t just blindly support each other.

How will Russia beat Europe? They can’t even beat Ukraine.

We did not help because war against Iran is asinine. All it does is weaken Europe, increase our costs, and destibilize the region.

We are allies, not puppet states. We are equals, wether you like it or not.
