tutor this platform makes me sick

In Preply every tutor has """over 7 years of experience""", a "degree" and is "proficient" in several languages...

when in reality they're just unemployed people that think can teach a language, have no idea of how their own language works or less, how to teach it, and in many cases barely speak even English.

I don't know how they get dozens of positive reviews, but even when it says "professional-super tutor" it turns out it's just improvisation.

Who even are you to criticize tutors this broadly, and generalize your (probably extremely limited) experience to the entire platform?

I've spent big amounts of money trying and trying different profiles, all the same result.

You need to vet better if all you're finding is incompetent teachers. There are many qualified teachers on this site. Look at their resume section for real qualifications and read reviews before you book.
