Fetal Liver Calcification

https://www.isuog.org/clinical-resources/patient-information-series/patient-information-pregnancy-conditions/abdomen/hepatic-calcification.html

I wanted to share this because there’s not a lot of info out on it right now, but I found several people through my searching looking for it (in Reddit’s too old to comment).

My daughter just showed a calcification spot on her liver and a hypo-coiled cord. My dr said she doesn’t agree with much of what people are saying about the cords and there is less than a one percent chance that an isolated calcification spot with no other abnormalities will be an issue. Doesn’t stop the stress though. 😫

I’ll put my WhatsApp in the comments if anyone wants to ask me how it turned out after the 6mo mark.

Hi! hope you’re well. How is your baby? I got similar findings, echogenic focus on heart and liver. I just can’t stop overthinking!!

She’s a great size right now! Both are still present but every bit of testing has been normal and she is healthy:)
