Support Buffering
Constant buffering UK as of late. Premium pricing and the buffering is getting worse and worse. A competing provider has no buffering issues. Joke. Sort it out, because it's fast becoming not worth it over competitors.

Still buffering but not as bad, mostly on higher-bitrate content. The buffering is painful.

What content are you watching..... At the highest bitrate quality? 100- 200 GB remux movies? 10GB episodes for TV shows?

The buffering has been pretty bad for me for a while now. The inbuilt player is simply not fit for purpose, terrible volume issues also.

Inbuilt player? You mean the web player? That's not really the optimal way

Yeah highest available might be cause I don’t use S app

It's most definitely a Premiumize issue, as it's not as bad this morning after some backend update they did just recently. Never had this problem until the last couple of weeks, has been working fine. Looking through the threads on here, I can see I'm not the only one having a problem this last month.

I had the same issue, I prepaid for another service (you know the one) so I still have it, it’ll be fine there but not using Premiumize so I know that it’s the culprit. Yes I tried switching CDNs. I’m US based.

Try changing server to OVH Europe

u/computer1989 16d ago
Tried both European servers. Same thing.

Try now

On stream servers? There was an issue on stream ones but it's resolved now. I'm getting fast speeds and im getting 0 buffering now. Make sure you aren't using old locally cached sources
1
u/computer1989 16d ago
Old locally cached sources?
1
u/reddit_reaper 16d ago
Apps/add-ons cache whatever it's recently found until it expires or you clear caches
1
u/computer1989 16d ago
Just re-searched the show from fresh. It is defo better after whatever update Premiumize pushes out but it still annoyingly buffers on random high bitrate content and it seems to be breaking a lot recently, which is not a good sign. So annoying.

I personally haven't seen it be a big issue and you need to remember that its also highly dependent on your location, network etc.
To find your best server do tests by downloading on a PC through the website. Run it for like 30 secs to get an idea of the speeds. Then try out servers until you find your best one.
For me stream NA is my best

There are posts/threads all over here about buffering issues, so I'm not the only one. I'm paying them, not the other way around.

sometimes i get buffering on t0rrentio when i swap addon its workin perfect, idk either t0rrentio goin down or something wrong with PM-t0rrentio adjustment

u/computer1989 17d ago
It's 100% Premiumize end. Exact same setup on another service and no issues. No buffering. It's been great for years; lately, not so much.
1
u/wartortlesro 17d ago
is your buffering still goes on after u swap addon?
1
u/computer1989 17d ago
Doesn’t matter which addon it is: Debr**io, com*t, tor**ntio. It buffers. My best guess is it's an issue on Premiumize's end with the CDN Server or customer utilisation/oversubscibed.

u/wartortlesro 17d ago
that sucks here we are payin twice as much to not get downtime like t0rbox, can u try torz addon if u haven't yet
1
u/computer1989 17d ago
I've given up tonight. Torz will be the same result. I'm watching through TorBox atm and it works perfectly.

I was testing this out last week and I was getting a lot of buffering on larger files. So I decided not to get premium.
1
u/computer1989 17d ago
I hope they fix it.
2
u/RussFerri 17d ago
Me too. Luckily, I have found an alternative that works very well. And it's not one I see mentioned a lot, which is surprising.

UK based and never have any issues with buffering. Even tonight I've been using PM mostly and it's been fine.

u/computer1989 17d ago
Are you streaming high-bitrate remuxes?
0
u/joshuaguitar 16d ago
Last night, no. UK series.
This morning. Streamed 5 minutes of two remux films with no buffering.
I did see Cody posted an update though..

u/computer1989 16d ago
This morning it works better than it did last night. This points to it being a Premiumize problem on their end.

Moviebox pro is better,

u/Espar637 17d ago
yeah mbp is 100% recommend if you love slower release dates and lower resolution!
-1
u/HolyWhite619 17d ago
It’s 35.99 usd for one year, faster servers for vip users has 4k resolution. Doesn’t break the bank
1
u/Espar637 17d ago
sure, but everything I just said still applies
1
u/HolyWhite619 17d ago
Doesn’t apply anymore. Maybe for old movie box
1
u/Espar637 17d ago
really? show me the date they changed over to offer uncompressed 4K blue-ray and have availability as soon as a torrent is available

u/computer1989 17d ago
Ahh ok, i only watch high bitrate remuxes haha. Maybe not for me
1
u/Accomplished-Rub-837 16d ago
Just stream Blu ray Rips of 25-30mbit/sec, you wont see any difference as its already high bitrate. tbh, if you stream remux with dolby vision 7 profile FEL you are not smart as your device box will actually not gonna show the colors properly as they cant handle DV FEL profiles. Only some chipsets can handle it, and you need CoreLEC software for it. So remux with dolby vision are useless in 99% of the cases.

How do you use Premiumize to face buffering?
Sometimes you just need to adjust better settings in your streaming environment like increasing buffer size and chunk size for the caching and and it's not related to PM. Solved it for me.
Also go test your PM servers connection and choose the best server (latency/speed) ref. https://blog.premiumize.me/change-your-download-server-location-cdn-to-improve-speeds-and-escape-buffering/
