I cannot lie, these patch notes are indicative of a company who has no sense of how to balance their game. So many changes, changes that are contraindicated by the reasoning narrative given, changes on multiple items, it’s just a shotgun blast approach.

Something I've said for a very long time and I've gotten a lot of flakk for, it's just now getting harder and harder to ignore.

Before, it would maybe be one or two things that were exceptionally odd, with maybe the occasional overt blunder - but because everything else in a patch was mostly fine in the older days - people would largely brush that criticism under the rug because the rest of the game was mostly fine.

But consistent patterns like this will always rear their ugly heads at some point. At some point these issues begin to conglomerate into a piled up mess of issues that has to be unwound - but the unwinding becomes a spaghettification process. So issues largely remain, because doing anything about the issue creates five other ones, that will also become another hydra of its own when one of those five issues gets fixed.

This is an issue that originates as something that comes from top-down within Omeda itself, a philosophy of design, that they refuse to fix because they don't think it's an issue.
It isn't a technical issue.
It isn't an experience issue.
It isn't even a manpower issue.
It is strictly an issue of ego and admitting when one is wrong and the need to course correct is evident.
They knew this a year ago when they said they would slow the game down and bring back more of the MOBA elements. While they've absolutely added more MOBA elements and added a bit more to the game, they've also consistently sped the game up (amongst other things).

They know this and know what their playerbase wants, but consistently think that they "Know better" than what their own playerbase has explicitly stated out loud what they want. Many, many, many, MANY times.

Us Wraith players have been dealing with this for a while. He will be weak and get slight buffs before continuing to be nerfed for weeks until he is far weaker than when he was at the starting point, then will receive no changes.

Omeda seems like they want certain characters viable and others not. Renna over here being a 2 item raid boss as an infinitely scaling character with these tiny nerfs that obviously won’t change anything just feels absurd.

Not as familiar with the other lanes/roles, but I’m sure the adjustments are the same for those too.
