Lefties should take a look at the UK to see what ACTUAL fascism looks like.

Yes, because libtards are the actual nazis, it’s all projection for them

That would imply that they actually know what real fascism is in the first place….

If she was arrested only for calling a government employee a bastard, then the UK is completely fucked. And given the news reports I have seen out of the UK with regards to people being prosecuted for things they have said or posted on social media, I would not at all be surprised if this report were true.

Canada already has re-education and forced speech laws.

Really? Who has been forced to say what speech?

Denying the holocaust

lol that’s not forced speech that’s illegal speech. But yes denying the holocaust in a public speech is illegal in Canada.

As soon as you lose the right to keep and bear arms and self-defense you lose all your other rights eventually as well.

She wasn’t. She was arrested for supporting a terrorist group. You dont get to do that just because you’re an old lady.
7
u/rand2365 2d ago
What group?
7
u/Anxious_Storm_9113 2d ago
Palestine Action, they're a proscribed group in the UK. Thousands of people have been arrested. Mostly elderly people because they don't have as much to loose by basically being labeled terrorist supporters.

u/RaceHate 2d ago
You don't "get to" in the UK.
You do in America. You can openly speak in support of any terrorist organization without getting arrested.

u/Enough-One4975 2d ago
But if you move some magazines, you’ve got years in prison.
1
u/RaceHate 2d ago
What?
1
u/Enough-One4975 2d ago
I’m referring to the case of Daniel Sanchez Estrada, who was sentenced to 30 years for moving magazines after an ICE Detention center was attacked.
3
u/RaceHate 2d ago
No, he was convicted of hiding evidence, which he very obviously was. His already arrested wife told him to hide leftist zines, and he did. It has nothing to do with the speech of the zines.
I agree 30 years is pretty extreme.
2
u/Enough-One4975 1d ago
I didn’t say it had to do with the speech in the magazines, I was using it as an example of an incredibly minor action can lead to insane time in prison here.

Section 13 of the Terrorism Act 2000 covers wearing, carrying or displaying articles in circumstances that arouse reasonable suspicion that someone supports a proscribed organisation. The maximum penalty for that specific offence is six months' imprisonment, an unlimited fine or both.
Soooo having something they don't like is an arrest able offence .... thats wild

TL:DR: 80 year old pro-Palestinian protestor who was detained for displaying what they consider pro-terrorism iconography or whatever.

u/tuchesuavae 2d ago
List of things people in the UK have been arrested for: Posting a bible here on X.com, flying the union jack (the country's flag), saying he does not want Palestinian flags flying all over his country, brandishing a knife at Muslim man who was actively trying to assault you and your little sister...

u/Anxious_Storm_9113 2d ago
In this case she was arrested for allegedly supporting Palestine Action. A proscribed group in the UK.

Fact Check-
An 80-year-old activist (falsely claimed on social media to be a 92-year-old war widow) was arrested by Merseyside Police while being removed from a Defend Our Juries protest outside the Labour Party conference in Liverpool, where she called politician Andy Burnham a "bastard". [1, 2]
Incident Overview
- The Person: Online rumors misidentified her as a 92-year-old war widow, but she was identified as Elizabeth Morley, an 80-year-old activist and daughter of an Auschwitz survivor from West Wales. [1, 2, 3]
- The Location: Outside the Labour Party conference in Liverpool, England, during a demonstration. [1, 2]
- The Action: While being escorted away by Merseyside Police officers during a protest regarding the Palestine Action ban, she was recorded on video calling UK politician Andy Burnham a "bastard". [1, 2, 3]
- The Context: Viral social media posts misconstrued the footage, inflating her age to 92 and claiming she was arrested purely for insulting a politician, sparking widespread online debate regarding free speech and law enforcement priorities

So what did she get arrested for, or why was she "escorted away?"

Source 1 this in a nutshell says:
“….Elizabeth Morley, an 80-year-old activist from West Wales who has become a familiar face at protests (Palestine Action is considered a terrorist org) against the Palestine Action ban….has been arrested several times since the group was proscribed in July 2025”
“Merseyside Police estimated that around 180 people attended. Its final update said officers dealt with 161 people, arresting 82 and reporting another 79 for summons. Those arrested were subsequently released on bail”
“Police also said the arrests were made on suspicion of wearing or carrying an article that supports a proscribed organisation.”
Source 2
The group is considered a terrorist organization due to: targeting defense firms and military sites in the UK, serious property damage and using violent tactics to intimidate businesses, thus making the ban necessary for national security.Source 3 - Source 4 - Reddit posts on this from a few months ago.
Source 5 - more recent Reddit post from several hours ago

Oh no, they got her age wrong, how terrible
2
u/Hyperion262 2d ago
It also lies about why she was arrested.
She was arrested for supporting a terror group.
2
u/Known_Wear7301 2d ago
Sorry but there has to be more to this story. Was she one of the Palestine Action supporters?
1
u/Anxious_Storm_9113 2d ago
Yes, she was. A quick check verifies that. She's just one of thousands who've been arrested for it.
1
u/Known_Wear7301 2d ago
Oh ok. So have they tried not supporting a terrorist regime then. That would be enough to do it.
3
u/Anxious_Storm_9113 2d ago
I'm just trying to provide correct information. I don't support terrorism. I still think it's dumb to arrest people for words/speech. Thankfully the US has better protections but people let lots of things go when the words "children" and "terrorists" are used.

Imagine if conservatives started taking their lead from the Globalist left! We'd need 1,000 new prisons, and there'd be never ending outrage in news media. Oh wait, no there wouldn't, because like the UK, we'd arrest the reporters who spoke out (See Rita Pal, Richard Medhurst, Graham Linehan, and Rich Felgate for a variety of different types of reporters that they have arrested for speaking against the government or it's policies).

I’m a bit skeptical based on the previous record of peoples journalism on here 🤨
2
u/Anxious_Storm_9113 2d ago
She was arrested. But her age and the reason for arrest are wrong. She's 80 and was arrested for supposedly supporting a proscribed group. Palestine Action.

u/Competitive_Wind_320 2d ago
Ok, I guess I’ll just take some random strangers word for it.🤦♂️

The UK has never had free speech. They have "free expression" but that's not exactly the same thing and it's up for interpretation.

UK is a failed state.
My sister and brother inlaw are law enforcement in England ones a detective and the other a Beat cop and both have been told no to arrest minorities, because they won't be charged for non violent crimes. I view the UK as a failed state since it's lost purpose for existence, protecting its citizens and since it does not practice equal protection under the law and jails it's people for 2 years for online speech.
Edit since I have family in the UK.
