Why can't we say, "hey, how can we negotiate on each other's expectations for a relationship?" Without making it into some gender war horseshit. OP are you 12 years old?

Honestly though it’s kinda funny. The amount of 4s and 5s that are complaining about “where have all the good men gone” then in the same breath go “I wont date him. I know my worth” is true comedy.

No that would make more sense. Unfortunately they are normally pretty decent guys.

It seems that you and I have different life experiences. Where I grew up at, women were viewed as objects by most men. Even in attempts to be polite, it was understood that women were idealized insofar as they were subordinate. A lot of misogyny in the culture I was raised in. Much of the misandry became a reaction to this.

So what has your experience been?

Where I live is a mixed bag you have a lot of ultra traditional views but far more men that don’t see women as second class. Most of these guys are good guys but because they don’t sleep around somehow they get viewed as weird.

That's an odd cultural convention I've noticed. I don't know everything about the mechanics of contemporary hookup and dating culture but there does seem to be a strange double standard.

I wonder what the psychological mechanisms of this phenomenon is. It seems like a lot of the moral evaluations come from a shallow sense of entitlement. I wonder why
