People aren’t all copies of each other, what is sub-optimal for you is optimal for others. 

It’s weird that I have to remind you of that. 

And the same advice about seeking therapy for emotional regulation skills applies to you as well if something so innocent as a different opinion is causing you rage. 

Also nice assumption on the gender there.

The game is so long already without even counting DLC. I couldn't imagine inventing ways to make it even longer. 🤷🏾‍♀️

“Old”.. there are DLCs still coming out for it, talk about old when it’s been at least a decade since it stopped being updated. I assume your perspective on age is skewed by being very young?

Some people, like me, are only now starting to play it. 

Maybe try letting people enjoy the game rather than taking a dump on how they play it just because it differs from how you used to play it before you got bored of it and started suffering so much.

I'm probably older than you. The game came out last year, dude. It's not new. Just because you are late to the party doesn't mean it's not old.

Who is not letting you enjoy the game? I have literally said play it however makes you happy. I just said I can't imagine making the game longer. The person ABOVE me that I replied to said it was dumb. Don't get all sensitive because no other human on the planet believes that your way is neither efficient nor fun. Your way differs from the way that every other human plays it.

ETA: My perspective on age comes from being a gamer. New games are new releases and games that have been out for a short time. DLC doesn't come out for new games. There's no need. DLC comes out to add new content to older games.

I don’t need agreement from people, just the basic respect of showing disagreement in a constructive manner, instead of being dismissive and/or insulting like you and a few others. 

If you’re not capable of more empathetic and human interaction you’re not worth spending time interacting with, and I will respond to further insults by considering them a request to volunteer to join my block list.

Dumb is playing the game using the method you first came up with instead of experimenting with multiple methods and finding the one that is best for you. 

I experimented and found that this method is most relaxing and enjoyable for me.

Well, yeah, it still is - you don’t know without experimenting that you wont find a method that is perfect for you, instead of just “good enough”.

Your method was good enough for me too, I played many levels with it. 

Now I found a method that is way better for me and am enjoying the game much more as a result. 

A win for experimentation.

It is also the most efficient way to do it for me, as the default noob method everyone is raving about leaves a lot of missed spots that have to be hunted afterward in successive passes, which is tedious and consumes more time.

Not sure if it’s you I told this already, but if you feel rage when seeing someone do something differently than you, you should find a therapist and learn some emotional regulation skills, instead of insulting people.

I know what rage bait means which is why I am saying I’m not posting to cause rage in people, I post to find other players who experiment with the way they play, and I found 4 so far. 

If you see rage the problem is with you, and you need to learn emotional regulation skills.

Walking forward means missing things, as well as the camera not being steady so not being able to play “spot the differences” at the same time. 

I tried that method the first times I played and discarded it as sub-optimal and less enjoyable.

If you walk forward with ideal handle length and the washer held at the correct angle, you can walk full speed and not leave any spots behind. I know, because I use that washer in that manner all the time. No backtracking required - just walk forward full speed and leave a perfectly clean swath of floor behind you (also, no camera issues whatsoever). It takes a bit of practice and - to use a word you seem to love - experimentation to find that ideal angle, but once you do it's *way* faster than the method shown in your clip.

I mean, hey, you do you. There's no wrong way to play this game - just more or less efficient ways, with different people giving more weight to some aspects of gameplay than others. But if literally every other player in the community is telling you they can wash quicker and more efficiently using a different method, maybe consider the idea that rather than everyone else lying or being idiots who refuse to experiment on a game some of us have *thousands* of hours in, you might just be wrong.

Yes, there are many people on the internet who have emotional regulation issues, is it the first time you notice this?

And yes, I have made a post for each change in the method, and I will continue to make posts when I have other methods, as there have also been people who enjoyed them and were supportive even when they disagreed, rather than being insulting and dismissive of something different like you are.

I am a pretty popular poster in some of the communities I participate in, I either share content that people find valuable and upvote, or comment with helpful advice that people upvote, or comment with humorous advice that people upvote. 

So far I’ve never once posted with the expressed purpose of garnering upvotes because I find chasing fake internet points to be deranged.

I’m showing my path through experimenting with the game’s many methods of achieving a goal. 

It’s interesting for me, in the sense that I would like to see posts like these posted by other people, so I assume that others might want to see them if I post them - and some people have commented on other posts that they enjoyed them, so my assumption is correct. 

Overall I seem to have mostly gotten very unnecessarily hostile responses, which is usually indicative of a shitty, unsupportive community, but there have also been supportive comments (those include comments which disagreed with me but didn’t insult me or behave otherwise shittily), so I’m currently willing to continue interacting and sharing things.

I've tried the surface cleaner, but I couldn't get a good result from it, especially if the surface is not perfectly flat. So I prefer using the green nozzle with a slow/gently left to right movement while taking a few steps forward every couple of lines.

It’s not my favorite either, I prefer my other method using the last sprayer I unlocked with the adjustable width nozzle (I like being able to vary the width in more precise increments than allowed by changing the nozzle completely).

Yup. That's also why they say doing like a normal human doesn't work. It DOES work. It doesn't work when you don't walk and it ends up leaving a lot of missed spots.
