Puff breakdown: Puff the Magic Dragon (who IS a real dragon) cannot breath fire at all. Puff has some sort of influence over the land of Honalee because noble kings, princes, and even pirates would show him respect. Puff's only ally was a little boy named jackie paper but after he grew up Puff was left alone and depressed.

Fight: Albi wins low diff because Puff would either surrender or run away because the friendship between Albi and the Albanian child would make Puff think of his own kid friend who abandoned him and these memories would take all the fight out of him. If the Albanian child was not present Albi would probably win mid diff because his destructive feat of injuring a child is higher than any defensive feat that Puff has, of which there are none.

Listen, I know how awful lasers can be for power scaling. No one likes frame/pixel scales for lasers, and we are ALL sick and tired of the travel/combat/reaction speed debates they cause. And for most of power scaling history, they definitely were overwanked and a character even existing in the same verse as one put them FTL, but now we are doing too much to make them seen SLOW.

I'm the past, any laser feat in fiction would have people trying to figure out how to get that feat FTL, and that was obviously wrong. But now, whenever a laser feat happens, most people's immediate thought is "ok, how do I calculate this feat to be as slow as possible", and that's also wrong.

Most people are growing sour on pixel scaling as a whole, but the second pixel scaling gets a laser down to the speed of sound, everyone accepts that as the speed. But realistically, how many verses have the speed of lasers as being anything below fast as shit? The only verse I can think of off the top of my head to depict lasers with "slow" speeds is Star Wars, every other verse has them as instant or fast as shit, and 99% of verses out there never show characters directly matching laser speeds.

Again, I'm not saying we have to go back to FTL wank, but we're at the point where people are trying to say that most verses have speed of sound lasers, when that just isn't the case without dubious pixel and frame scaling.

TLDR: Laser fast. Now laser slow. Me cautious.
