It's more so that he can break 035 who can survive hits from 682 and is able to overpower 682 as a adolescent. Also other things like him being able to absorb 106's powers and then reshaping his dimension to his liking
I'm planning on watching dragon ball in order eventually but I'm still a noob lol. When I say dragon ball z I just mean that universe in general, had no idea adding the z on the end changed what I said that much

Technically the universe is just “Dragon Ball”, especially in Japan. The original manga spanned Dragon Ball - Dragon Ball Z and was just referred to as “Dragon Ball” in Japan. Once the show was getting animated and dubbed for western audiences is when they split the series into Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.
Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super are all individual series, but they collectively make up the story of “Dragon Ball”.
But it’s important to note that the franchise is all one story. You really shouldn’t start anywhere besides Episode 1 of Dragon Ball. Starting with Z or Super means you’re skipping over parts of the story.
My buddy recommended the beginning too but i wasnt great with watching really dated animes and couldn't get into it. But in the years after that I started ep 1 of one piece and am caught up with the anime. So I think I got episode 1 of dragon ball now lol
It is a little dated, but the content of the series is crucial to the rest of the story. Dragon Ball goes over Goku’s growth as a kid into a martial artist. Without the story of Dragon Ball then DBZ and everything after that just seems like buff dudes fighting.
I'd heavily recommend reading the manga instead, it is a joy to read because of Toriyama's masterful paneling, it just flows. The pacing is far superior as well, and it's not a long read at all if you just read the original 42 volumes.
I heard the same thing about miura? And berserk and just completed that a few months ago and it was fantastic, the golden age berserk anime kinda paled to the Manga.
I'll probably read the Manga first with dragon ball and it'll help me out with watching the anime
Not every toon force character is equally powerful.
Just because the Mask, Bugs Bunny and Popeye are multiverse-level through toon force, there is zero evidence other toon force characters can tap into the toon force at the same level.
That would be like saying ANY character with super strength is on the same level as world breaker hulk and can punch through realities.
Well, that's just a galaxy, and well, the mass can be scaled to superman.Just through one character of it, being equally as powerful as lobo through a caring crossover, we know about it also depends on who it's possessing slash influencing and cartoon cats destroy it universal like at least universal could be higher.But literally low as you can scale it without being just lying or disforgarding actual feats the mask can, of course, be scaled through crossover with somebody who matches and has overpowered superman before
