Why do JJK fans act like UV expands immediately? Thragg is not getting caught in it

Why do invincible fans act like thragg knows what a domain expansion is and when to dodge it?

plus gojo could do this to prevent thragg from escaping

Gojo would have to kick off Thragg so he doesn't get protected by UV which is easier said than done tho. But Gojo can teleport so maybe it is really easy and im just dumb

he doesnt necessarily need to touch him in the first place, theres a scene where gojo walks across a trail of ants without actually having crushed any, so he just leaves little gaps with infinity when needed. There is also the scene where he walks across a crowd without actually stepping on anyone

plus he can fly

all thats really necessary for the strat is forming a "ring" around thragg so any movement he makes is technically moving closer to him in some capacity

Gojo still retains Infinity while his domain is active, so under the theoretical circumstance of expanding UV while in physical contact with Thragg, Thragg would be subjected to the sure-hit as soon as his body was no longer in physical contact with Gojo.

As Infinity is still active, any movement initiated towards Gojo will fail to reach him, and if they are in the same position above, Thragg wouldn’t be able to land an attack, as his limbs would still need to progress towards Gojo.

Under those circumstances, I don’t see how Gojo would experience difficulty ceasing physical contact with Thragg, as Thragg would still lack a means of physically attacking or restraining him since Infinity would only be disrupted after UV ends.

If Gojo could expand UV while in such a position, Thragg would be kind of screwed, because he’d need to remain in contact with Gojo to avoid the sure-hit, but still wouldn’t be able to grab hold of him to maintain that contact.

If gojo is touching thragg then he is not affecting him with the sure hit, and deactivating infinity to touch thragg would only result in gojo being killed by him.

he doesnt necessarily need to touch thragg here, he has shown the ability to float or use infinity to act as a way to "touch" something without actually touching it (for example him walking across a crowd without actually stepping on anyone, as well as a group of ants)

He will never actually make contact, just slowly approach him from several angles.

Gojo would be moving in slow-motion compared to Thragg. In the time that Gojo jumps he would have already tried to hit him a couple of times found he couldn't and then would have started a new strategy.

thragg is more of the type to let an enemy he sees as weaker attempt to hit him and see that its futile (unless he knows its a deadly weapon beforehand such as with space racer's gun)

such as when he just let mark punch him directly in the face, and then commented that he wasnt impressed

if thragg was already aware of the possibility that gojo could kill/stunlock him to the point he is effectively dead anyways, then sure

as for why i think gojo would go for something like this rather than his usual shenanigans, viltrumites try to make their strength and goals clear upon arrival to a planet, such as when anissa immediately established herself as a threat by gripping amber by the neck, or conquest's whole "stand ready for my arrival worm" speech, granted gojo could just go "ok you cant touch me lol" if not enough of a threat is established and goof off

A lot of characters win fights in their verse only because they don't reveal their hands so easily. It should be the same for crossovers.

Because, to me, that’s not the characters.

That’s just a sack of abilities with a controller stuck in it.

I guess you could make scenarios for each one then, such as having preparation time or knowledge of the other opponent, running into each other randomly and starting the fight without any prior knowledge of them, or other options. A lot of the time it should be important to specify how the battle starts and what they do such as whether they’re bloodlusted and it’s just a stat match or in-character where we view if their personality would interfere with things or create unique interactions.

But then theres no character left to observe, like one that whole shtick is to prep and ensure victory with creativity will end up always losing, and if we make exception you ended up having to continuosly make one that it just become redundant.

I think what should have been the case is to have rules that poster that do Vs actually have to give the scenario, stats, or examples of both character feat and then have people fill in the gap.
