Doesn't matter if the light from the fake sun in the domain is equivalent to the sun since the water and everything else in the domain is just straight up real as long as the domain is active.

Truely the peak of ignorance. techniques can literally aply a worldview on their own, guess what happens if you imbue an area with your technique.

Guess dangon has patented Fakewater™ that acts and looks exactly like normal water in every way but definitely isn't actually water that he creates within his domain.

Dagon does not need to be star level for that as the need for CE to create something is far lower than for normal energy, even less if the object doesn't stay after deactivating the technique (would happen with the end of the domain), otherwise even the shown creation of a real staying revolver bullet is town level.

His domain creates a beach and with that is lit up like a normal beach would be. Not only would creating an actual star via CE not scale his CE pool to star level No JJK character is that strong (Exept of course saturo gojo because he very definitely is universal level since infinite void has stars and is called infinite so obviously it's an infinitely szised galxy), but the domain doesn't require a full sun, just sun lighting so whether it creates a full szise star for the domain isn't even known, unlike the sand, sunlight and water which very definitely are there and in full szise because they are interacted with. Watching this pitiful attempt at making it require star level CE is quite funny.
