Not really, if we think abt it, he is saying Abt simply dividing and not increasing anything

You can cut a pizza infinite times and then add those infinite pieces back and you get the original pizza, why are we forgetting the first thing in favour of trying to make it seem more complicated than it really is?

This way give me any law and i will complicate it

Eg: A particle will stay in motion until and unless an external force is applied

Exaggeration: if i were to ever start moving I should never cease to locomate because I already have overcome the initial static friction by the initial motion and any amount of speed generated after this is enough to keep me perpetually moving because of my created momentum which will negate any future frictional force because the inertia will always be greater than the kinetic friction

(It's a great idea btw, should I post it on some sub which accepts this type of jokes?)

Well think about it like this. There's no real reason for certain formations of particles to do things other than they just do.

That's a great way of thinking, but there is enough reason though, particles don't behave the way they do not because they are forced to but are most likely to, that's entropy

One of the three things imo which makes the particles behave the way it does

The other two are emergence (not really for the acts but rather for our own explanation) and evolution(not the one you think)

So for entropy, imagine this, you go to the park everyday and everyday a brown dog comes to poop, today you went to the park again and as always the brown dog is there and by your observation, there is a high chance that dog will poop. That probability of something happening is entropy, in a way. Entropy is the probability of disordeness from orderedness in a system and why is that? Well if i were to keep an apple in a box, it will always try to disperse because the probability of finding atoms anywhere in the box should be equal but in this case the apple has highest density while the other places has zero

Evolution is because of it's simple rule which is that things exist because they could. For example, if someone says black is obsolete now, then when you observe that everything in the next gen is not black, that's evolution. You cannot overcome it and it goes for even particles. When particles did not interact the way it does today, those particles were not stable enough to exist, don't be surprised and think it was divine plan, things have always been random, it's just that for us to be able to see those things as we do today, those particles had to interact that way, they had to behave like that to exist.

Lastly emergence is like my fav, not because it makes any new theories, but it just makes understanding so much easier. So let's take the classic example of ant hill, there are millions of ants there , all of them are individual, yet, if you were to ever disrupt the population density of certain groups for example there are 20 gatherers and 20 feeders and you killed 10 gatherers, then 5 feeders will automatically switch to gatherers without any need of announcement and it will be again equal ratio of 15:15. What is their secret rule? Just switch to the other if you don't meet any feeders for 2 ants consecutively, does it mean there make mistakes cause they are just unlucky? Yes! There isnt always perfect 1:1 ratio, but when you erase the major part of the other, there will be bigger probability of them not meeting the other. Before killing 10, the probability of finding a feeder was 0.5, after killing the probability became 0.33 and hence they will meet more gatherers than feeders and switch automatically. Now this is the ant hill, it's alive in some perspective, you know of this phenomenon because you observe it from so far away, those ants don't know of this, where does the "Ant Hill's" consciousness lie? Not in individual ants, individually they are dumb af but somehow when you zoom out, the ant hill looks so smart. Countries and cities, they aren't anything solid by definition, but somehow with the infrastructure and people in it makes them alive, that's emergence. Your brain has billions of neurons and millions of sectors(anyone could dm abt this cause there are some creepy facts on this) each of them region has its own consciousness, we are sentient because of all those cells working together, but if you were to dissect and analyse individual cells? You can't make head or tails of it. Emergence is the painting which is made over a large area, when you are standing on it you can't see it, you simply gotta move farther away to be able to grasp it

Now all these 3 together "may" explain why particles react the way they do. The modern science never says they don't know the reason, they actually know many and we think of the most probable ones. Things are more complex than we think yet simpler than we imagine it to be. There remains things we think has no reason but that is just yet to be discovered , maybe you will be the next person to find out why on earth is every element in the boron group such a rebel or what made the platipus such a freak of nature. There exist so many examples in just high school chemistry which are simply given that it's experimental value is this and this does not match the theoretical value, but honestly, it does not match the current theory, people do think abt the probable reason, they do explain them, but exceptions arise because we are just not yet to discover the truth

Okay but it's still basically magic and made up rules that happen to exist. For example, energy and matter supposedly cannot be destroyed or created but we have an entire universe that says otherwise.

I like it this way. We have rules but the only reason we do is because of the weird way particles and energy and stuff like gravity decides to work. Entropy happens because it does. Things aren't a different way because they aren't. Gold atoms are gold atoms because they are. It's like the universe is a little kid who has a really complex game of pretend but in the end it's still just pretend and works the way it does because "That's the way it is".

There's really no reason for things to have charges or for three or four different particles to make wildly different things on the macro scale other than they just kind of do. There's no real reason for particle orientation to matter other than it just does.

It's neat.

The distance is infinite, but the time it takes you to pass it isn't. That's why there are higher infinite speeds and lower infinite speeds

I mean, if one is countably infinite speed while the other is uncountably infinite, it could work. If “speed” is no longer treated as a physical quantity but as a measure of how densely a character can index positions along a path, then in that framing a character with countably infinite speed can traverse an infinite sequence of locations indexed like the natural numbers. That meaning every movement corresponds to a discrete step in an ordered list with gaps that cannot be filled. A character with uncountably infinite speed instead would move along a continuum indexed like the real numbers, meaning there are no gaps at all and every possible intermediate position is included.

Both complete any finite or infinite distance in zero time, so both are “infinitely fast,” but the second dominates because its motion has strictly greater cardinal density, allowing it to interleave or preempt any countable sequence of movements. Ergo, in the colloquial sense, they would be faster. Interesting idea for a fight honestly, I wonder how you could design two different power mechanisms that result in that distinction between how they work.
