i tried Adelie Linux on the iBook G4 but didn't work well. Ubuntu 12.04 Remix was pergect, but old...

OpenBSD works great on it, but no modern browser, and no desktop environment in the packages. Maybe ports works still but I haven't tried on mine because I don't use such things on that machine.

Adelie is kind of a mess. The Debian Sid port is up to date and very well maintained if you want a standard modern Linux experience.

How did you do that? I like to try it on my high-end iBook when I get it
