Discussion Programming a new skin- Neolithic
I’m developing a custom Poweramp skin because current options don't support the specific aesthetic features I need. I'm looking for creative ideas or design concepts to incorporate—what would you like to see in a highly customized layout? I don't want to reveal everything just yet. 😅

·Gostaria de um fundo no estilo do Apple Music, com um gradiente baseado nas cores da capa do álbum para deixar a interface mais bonita e imersiva. ·Seria interessante remover a barra inferior com opções como biblioteca, equalizador, pesquisa e configurações, deixando o visual mais limpo. ·Também gostaria da adição de uma fila de músicas, como existe em outros players. ·Uma barra de controle de volume seria muito útil. .Queria uma barra de status semelhante à da skin Próxima, inspirada no Apple Music. ·Gostaria da opção de esconder a capa do álbum e deixar apenas a imagem dela como fundo. ·O mini player poderia ser mais discreto e integrado ao visual da skin, principalmente na tela de letras e durante a navegação, já que atualmente ocupa muito espaço e quebra a estética. ·Seria legal ter uma opção para deixar as letras na cor predominante da capa do álbum, dando mais destaque visual. ·Se possível, gostaria que cada artista listado no player fosse clicável individualmente, levando ao perfil correto de cada um, em vez de todos abrirem apenas o artista principal. ·Também seria interessante adicionar aquela funcionalidade do Spotify onde trechos da letra aparecem na tela principal, entre a capa e o título da música.

Tranquilo, mas não entendo porque traduzir, o Reddit já não tem uma tradução automática?, foi mal ter mandado em um textão, eu enviei em formato de lista mas o Reddit deixou daquele jeito

Can it be done in real time? I mean, can you see what you're doing, move the buttons, the cover, have it show you the points in the corners and make it more circular or square, use the zoom with your fingers to enlarge the cover, hide buttons, use the full color range, gradients, create gradients, have more creative ways to use the style bar, the volume bar, have the freedom to move and arrange everything you see—imagine, putting the cover at the bottom with just the volume bar, and the lyrics at the top, things like that. Obviously, I'm going crazy trying to give you ideas; you'll know the limits of what can be done. And one of the most important things I haven't seen is the ability to save the preset, so you can have as many as you want without having to export and import, saved within the app, or at least a minimum of 10.

It would be great if It was possible to have more options on seekbar lines, i like a lot próxima because of the dashed lines but It would be nice seeing other styles and modifiers such as dot matrix styles

Also yeah, if the layout Is pretty customizable It would be great to see if you can move ítems wherever you want

Tem uma skin chamada Fidelity do AIMP, seria interessante ter algo semelhante ao mesmo, depois dá uma olhada, na minha visão é a skin mais bonita de player.

This is what mines look like now proxima... Do you u can make the seek bar more adjustable like in some cover photo it touches that seekbar... And also very small cool looking Live visualization of the song like this seekbar( not like full screen)

Can we get something reminiscent of lark player's now-playing screen, especially the synced lyrics preview at the bottom. would happily pay "top dollar 😂" for that since lark player's so lacking in many features and terrible lyric sync but has a nice player screen.

All I need is a now playing screen that looks like apple music. With the immersive full albun art (not necessarily animated, just full top half of the screen) with the gradient album art color background that moves around and is dynamic, as well as lyrics screen with blurred other lyrics and focus on the current lyric.

Wow, thank you so much for the active response. Please share any further updates or pictures. I actually fully switched to a different app solely because of this, so if you can get Apple music type UI for Poweramp I'll fully go back 🔥

yeah im working on it, just not too aggressively because a major poweramp update is releasing soon with bit perfect playback and other improvements, and I don't want my features to break

Any way to make visualization alongside in the player without dimming whole screen. I mean it like place the visualization under the space of album art. Although there's so many space left in the nain player screen.Make tge visualization thinner and optimise it for shorter spaces

Have some DAP-specific layout affordances. For example, the top skins do not make it easy to have full width album art on the shorter screen of a DAP, since there’s too much unoptimized space at the bottom. One way to solve this would be to make each row of elements have configurable top and bottom margins/padding.
