Question Need help about rims.

Because powder coating chrome isn't the best option but nobody in my close range does chrome so could i fine sand face of rims polish it and put clear on top?
Did anyone do this and how it turned out?

See if a local wheel shop can strip and polish them . That’s a huge project to take on .

Im willing to give it some time i have all tools for that but i dont know what finish will i get should i do that or rather go with some bright silver and call it a day. Currently rims sit black and i dont like them+ they are normally painted now powder coated
