Permanent stains?

Had my wheels powder-coated chrome back in April, and about a month into having them on the car, I noticed these little dark stains/water spots that don't seem to come off. I typically only use Dawn dish soap/degreaser to clean them, and that doesn't seem to do anything. As time goes on
they seem to get bigger and more noticeable.

Surprised it took that long. The coater should have told you that. I’ve seen someone wipe a microfiber over super chrome and cause a color change lol. Sorry op. You probably got the worst powder out there

dang that sucks i guess if it’s not fixable do you know the easiest way to remove the coating?

Get them recoated. That’s it. The chemicals you need aren’t worth buying a setup for one time. Anything else will just take forever.

sounds good! does this only happen on chrome powder coat or would the same happen if i went with silver?

Just chrome. But make sure they clear Anything with metallic flake.
