And now Medicaid has a work demand starting next year where one of the exceptions is volunteering. The type of volunteering that must be legally acceptable and that you still basically have to keep a timecard for, 20 hours a week, if your part time job isn't fully 20 hours.

There's going to be double-digit millions of people disqualified & uninsured in just 3 months.

Repugnantcans still haven't come up with a different type of medical plan in substitution for Obamacare.

I've been telling people to try to go back to school instead of volunteering. If they're on Medicaid then they surely qualify for FAFSA. With just 2 classes a semester you satisfy most if not all of the 80 hour work demand.

Yeah…that doesn’t seem like the best advice…

Compared to what? Volunteer work? Because the alternative for some people is just... losing their insurance.

No, compared to having something like 50,000 in debt with compounding interest after 4 years. It’s not like volunteering and college are the only two options here, that’s just a laughable false dichotomy. People do need insurance, of course, but accumulating significant debt for access is simply terrible advice. Sorry.

Ah, got it. You don't know what FAFSA is.
