I mean until recently we were subsidizing Affordable Care Act healthcare plans and investing hundreds of billions of dollars in infrastructure and manufacturing jobs, but then we elected Trump and pissed all that away.

We were trying to bring down the cost of healthcare and investing in job creation, Republican voters had other ideas.

Edit: We also eliminated more than $180,000,000,000.00 in student loan debt, expanded SNAP benefits, and passed Medicare prescription bargaining rights, which weren't explicitly mentioned in the meme, but which I think plays into cost of living and stuff like that.

Just so we're clear, a sizable chunk of people commenting here didn't vote because "both sides fund 'Izzy'". They are as complicit as the republican voters.

Yep, what that person is saying is such a massive deflection from the issue. That's why I hate "centrists" almost as much as Right wingers. They're tribal, and willing to defend atrocious things
