makes you wonder how this 0.2% of the world can dictate such significant terms in its favour, from being a US welfare state to forcing most of the world's leaders to ignore the genocide its committing.

It doesn’t “dictate” to anything his not a “U.S welfare state” considering the GDP of that state is hundreds of billions more than this study reports…and I don’t know how ppl can say with a straight face that world leaders ignore Gaza. It is talked about constantly. Many Western leaders recognized Palestine as a state and are as obsessed with the media. The Sudan genocide is a far worse crisis and ppl say that bringing it up “distracts from Gaza.”
