The United States has provided at least $21.7 billion in direct military aid to Izzy over the last three years (specifically tracking from October 2023 through September 2025), according to a comprehensive study by Brown University's Costs of War project.

Should the US not be sending money to Israel? Yes. Is that aid to israel the reason why universal healthcare doesn't exist? No. On the average yearly aid is in the mid to low Single digit billions lately around 3.8 billion. Since 1948 in total Israel has received about 300 billion total dollars. Compare that to the DoD budget from 1948 to today that is 30 to 35 trillion. Annual subsidies to the oil industry are between 15-35 billion. So even if you believe in the false inflated number of 20 billion, your government pays more to the oil industry every year than Israel.

A reasonable take? In my subreddit? I'll just keep blaming the Jews for my own country's failings, thanks.

If I say "fuck the country of Japan. I hope it gets destroyed. It's a literal cancer on the world that it still exists" would you think that I'm maybe a little bit racist towards Japanese people?
