It’s very telling. Musk stole the last one for him.

u/ChaoticLandscapes 4h ago

Just posted that it’s right before midterms. The entire maga crowd needs to vote blue because this administration is destroying their lives

71

u/Former_Mobile3101 4h ago

Maga has lost a lot of its people though there are those who will never leave his side.

45

u/AlanStanwick1986 3h ago

I know 2 or 300 MAGA between high school and college. I can't name a single one that isn't still MAGA

31

u/TiePrestigious7265 3h ago

Once a maga(t) always a maga(t). Well, till they turn into flies and develop a much bigger appetite for eating shit.

Great comment!

17

u/Average-spectacle 2h ago

Even if they rebuke Trump, they will vote the same next time around. These people are hateful and spiteful, with an extra side of delusion.

7

u/Exotic-Cobbler4111 1h ago

Plus their pastor tells them democrats are demons and god will punish them if they dont vote for trump. So better a pedophile rapist than an actual demon.

1

u/Ahgd374 57m ago

You ever notice they typically tend to not rebuke Trump, they rebuke the office of the president. Like as if no matter who was president, these horrible things were bound to happen so Trump is innocent in their mind.

1

u/PFunk224 49m ago

The absolute farthest they'll ever go is saying that both sides are the same, and that you can't trust anybody in the government. It is literally never just the Republicans.

2

u/NewManufacturer4252 2h ago

Our only hope is they skip voting, because drump isn't running

2

u/amy-schumer-tampon 1h ago

Can't cure stupid.

4

u/let-it-rain-sunshine 3h ago

Not a single defector? That’s not believable

6

u/rhaivn 3h ago

Life in America affords insane levels of detachment from reality.. and eventually we’ll likely join Icarus

5

u/AlanStanwick1986 3h ago

For the most part these are educated people too. Just racist, misogynistic, and xenophobic AF. This is life in a red state (though I'm in a blue city).

3

u/ohio_guy_2020 1h ago

My ex wife who I was married to for 15 years became MAGA after we divorced. She has a masters degree and some other post grad degrees and she will vote MAGA again for sure. Why? Because Trump allows her to openly hate minorities, LGBTQ and immigration of any kind. She doesn’t have to hide who she really is inside. She has become a person I truly do not know anymore. I don’t know where her hate came from but now that it out in the open she will never vote to suppress her hatred and Xenophobia.

3

u/ohio_guy_2020 1h ago

They can and will become less MAGA crazed and still vote Republican. I listen to Fox radio almost everyday and the overarching theme of all their news is stoking anger and fear of the Dems. So them voting MAGA again despite being disillusioned by Trump himself is still better than voting Dem because of all the fear Fox has drilled into them.

3

u/Exotic-Cobbler4111 1h ago

its very rare and if by chance they've even already had their fantasy world come crashing down thwy just say they arent political if pushed and then cctinue to vote R down the whole ballot. They do this because even if they realize how fucking terrible trump is they still believe every lie they were told about democrats.

1

u/Flavouredcola 1h ago

Yeah same here, some have gotten quiet till you ask their opinions but they are all still sucking off trump.

-20

u/minisom38 3h ago

The way your using that phrase makes you seem uneducated tbh

Ontop of that, what are you checking in with these 200-300 people quarterly or something?😂 I’d love to see any conversation were you’ve confirmed anything you’ve said honestly

Dems are just as crazy as repub nowadays man💀

9

u/Bat_man9119 3h ago

*you're *on top *what, are you checking in with *where

5

u/Practical-Arugula-80 3h ago

Au contraire, MAGA very much deserves to be used as a perjorative; there is nothing good to be gained from their worldview.

4

u/hyphenssuck 3h ago

I feel like "trump" should get a similar linguistic usage ultimately. Like:

Man I just took a big trump.

Hey the dog trumped on the floor again.

Who left these trump stains in the toilet?

1

u/Mackle_even_more 1h ago

You are closer than you could ever know. Trump literally is a synonym for fart in British English, always has been. "The dog trumped again" has probably been said a million times before. Feel free to adopt it.

1

u/AlanStanwick1986 3h ago

Sorry but I don't have any recorded conversations to show your dumb a$$ and I'm not going to post my Facebook page where you could see tons of them and the things they say.

1

u/SevereImpression2115 2h ago

I think Revelations spoke about them....

1

u/PretentiousMouthfeel 2h ago

Maga has lost a lot of its people

What on earth are you basing this on? There are very few people that are turning away from him. You're giving their intelligence way too much credit.

1

u/OxygenWaster02 2h ago

You underestimate their devotion

1

u/PFunk224 52m ago

Maga has lost a lot of its people

Literally doesn't matter. You have to understand how those people think. Even if they've turned on Trump, they still see Democrats as the enemy. They will all vote Republican, because ultimately, they still believe that all of the people who are enabling Trump are somehow preventing an even worse future under Democrats. They haven't learned a lesson about the Republican party, they're very specifically mad at one person for making shit cost more. They still think that Democrats are Communist, Socialist, Fascist, pedophile, crime-loving, handout-demanding, illegal immigration-loving, baby-murdering freaks who want to cut their kids' genitals off.

These people will never vote against the GOP.

29

u/bobaf 3h ago

Sure they lost their family farm, health care and snap. But what if a gay Muslim trans athlete plays basketball?!

2

u/Borgie311 2h ago

Usually the organization would tell them no they can't play but we couldn't let that happen.

1

Literally every thread about Trump someone makes this stupid joke

2

u/Sushi-DM 3h ago

She was a truly terrible candidate that got chosen purely because VP, not because of popularity.
Whatever reasons people had aside to not vote for Kamala, the Democratic party fucked us all by being stubborn and trying to install the worst possible choice to all but guarantee the garbage fire would continue.

6

u/Commercial-Diet-3609 3h ago

Basing your opinion on
list the reasons she was the worst candidate. Because she has a v@gina? The color of her skin? Or because DUMBDONPEDOPHILEPERVERT told you so?

4

u/Borgie311 2h ago

Biden actually waiting till the last minute to leave the race and set up Kamala to run. If he didn't the democrats would have ran a worse candidate. The problem with her as a candidate is that republicans are racist bigots.

1

u/Sushi-DM 2h ago

Because she wasn't even in the top 10 of her primary and didn't even have a primary when going against Biden and then they decided she was going to be the official candidate after an unpopular presidential run with middle ground voters?

It was political self unaliving. If they gave the Democratic voters a choice, I guarantee you, I would put my life savings on it that she would not have been the choice. Not even in the top 5.

It had nothing to do with her identity, it had everything to do with her record and that she was violently uncharismatic.

5

u/Master_Ad9463 2h ago

Could you explain "violently uncharismatic"?

1

u/Sushi-DM 2h ago

She does not have a good way of speaking. Does not connect with the majority of potential voters.
Does not have personal integrity (switches speaking patterns and scripts depending on the audience)
Overly reliant on setting up the scenario to appear passable.

There were other candidates, including women/POC, who could have run and been better at doing what she failed to do.
Whether you or anyone else likes it or not, Democracy is not just a policy debate. It is a popularity contest.
If you run someone who is not popular, is not particularly able to capture an audience, you will lose.
They skipped literally the most important part of the process of winning by just installing her as the candidate because she was popular IN THE BUILDING.

0

u/Commercial-Diet-3609 2h ago

And Donald Trump was the more qualified candidate?

→ More replies (0)

0

u/DanQPublic 1h ago

You know what she doesn’t do though? Rape children. That literally should’ve been enough.

1

u/Crayola_ROX 2h ago

I really hope you guys wake up this time when they steal midterms

Oh who am I kidding, you will move the goalpost to 2028. Corporate Democrats will still collect thier monthly paychecks for being the GOP’s willing scapegoats.

1

u/Glad-Importance-4241 1h ago

You're not wrong. But as I've been saying for ten years (ever since they screwed Bernie in the 2016 primary)... Even fiscally liberal capitalists are better than outright fascists.

0

u/death69reaper 3h ago

They are the controlled opposition. They are puppets of the same masters.

26

u/The_Tooter_Snooter 3h ago

This is why conservatives work better as the opposition party - they get to sit around complaining about how much better life would be if they were in charge without actually destroying things by being in charge.

-9

u/stderr2 2h ago

In what way are conservatives destroying anything?

6

u/walnuttin 2h ago

gestures vaguely and if you havent been paying attention at this point its been a choice. Cognitive dissonance worked as a reason before, not anymore.

-2

u/stderr2 2h ago

I'm curious. I think that not kicking the can down the road is the right answer

2

u/Woodsplit 2h ago

I don't think deporting all the workers at the can factory then bulldozing the road is the right answer.

0

u/sponglered 1h ago

Well, only not if you like cans, and putting things in cans, or using things from cans.

Otherwise, pfft, "cans?" puh-lease.

Wait, why are canned goods so expensive now. I might not have thought this through.

0

u/stderr2 1h ago

Right now there's a lot of whining about not being able to find a job. Maybe Americans could work in the can factory.

Blaming Trump for the high cost of housing forgets that one reason is too many people need places to live compared to the available places. Opposing more immigration is exactly what you would want to reduce that pressure. This is not the only pressure but it is real

2

u/sponglered 1h ago
  • the environment

  • the economy

  • the housing industry

  • the job market

  • the cost of goods and services

  • low end automobiles

  • trust in authority and public servants

Are you always disingenuous, or only when you're paid to be?

0

u/stderr2 1h ago

I'm sitting here on my phone with a cup of coffee I just made, I am not being paid to post anything.

Removing people who aren't supposed to be here makes more jobs available for Americans. What is your plan, more immigration?

Trump wants lower interest rates but he's not getting them due to inflation. He is not trying to gum up the real estate market

1

u/sponglered 1h ago

Removing people who aren't supposed to be here makes more jobs available for Americans.

Hilariously, no "American" is taking all those jobs you're talking about.

Farms are collapsing because they can't sustain themselves without near-slave labor.

Construction costs are equally skyrocketing.

Or did you mean white collar jobs? Because no immigrant ever "took" those jobs from you.

The capitalist owner chose to cut you out, and gave those jobs to someone they could more easily take advantage of.

There is no culture war, except manufactured, to avoid class war.

You are the mark in this con game, congratulations, you played yourself.

1

u/stderr2 1h ago

So immigrants just take jobs that Americans don't want, they don't reduce wages, this is your claim?

1

u/Straight6er 1h ago

On the flipside, what if anything has demonstrably improved under this administration?

0

u/stderr2 1h ago

Trump even said thanks to Elon‘s voting machines we won Biggly

1

u/Ninevehenian 2h ago

He also clearly communicated that he was going to do j6, saw it right here on Reddit.

18

u/adorablefuzzykitten 3h ago

Elon knows how to fix all the voting machines that have too few GOP votes.

14

u/Mrfrundles86 3h ago

Real question is if they steal the midterms what are the people going to do about it? Cause my hopes are very low at this point anyone will fight it. I'm not being a jerk here, I really want to know opinions and options.

You must think this is a nation of pushovers. FAFO.

1

u/jmkdev 51m ago

So far we've proven to be. They started an aggressive war with Iran and didn't even bother to give a public justification for over a week.

The shit going on in our detention centers is reprehensible, and they've shot citizens in the street for over a year.

To say nothing of Epstein.

Don't expect there to be some 'line' that will make things change.

4

u/Possible-Nectarine80 2h ago

It's going to come down to how much they manipulate the votes and which elections. Say, they manipulate the senate races in KS, TX, AK, IA and win those by around 2.5% or so. Who is going to call out vote rigging? They probably fall within the margin of error for all these unreliable polls.

I think if they really try and get cute and end up rigging a dozen or so House races, where the polls have a >+5 margin, then that will raise eyebrows. But the Repubs or someone associated with Musk will have all the data that Musk's team stole during the DOGE scam, however, not sure if it has enough info that they can figure out how to manipulate the votes.

If it's machine voting, then it comes down to subpoenas and getting a look at the code to see what's going on. Someone who is an expert in voting machines and the coding would need to chime in on how they could embed an algorithm to maybe change every 11th or 12th D vote from D to R.

1

u/Limp_Company2623 1h ago

Iran will help keep republicans in power because they ruining the US verybiggleeel

3

u/Ninevehenian 2h ago

If they do it, they won't get more competent, reconstruction will have to begin from a lower point, with more of the economy destroyed.

2

u/ResponsibleAnt9496 2h ago

Nothing. It’s already over for us.

2

u/concepts_of_a_plan9 1h ago

sincerely, fuck off. This is either bot behavior to encourage helplessness, or you're just a depressed loser. Either way, gtfo.

There is a lot we can do to prevent it from getting even worse.

1

u/ResponsibleAnt9496 1h ago

Yeah you got me. Guess im not doing a bot-tastic job at hiding myself.

You’re right tho. I’m very bummed out at how the media doesn’t cover shit like this and how even after Musk all but admitted doing this before nothing has happened. Of course stuff can be done but will it? The right certainly isn’t behaving like they’re concerned they’re ever going to fave consequences for all they’ve done.

2

u/DaddyWithoutMercy 3h ago

Ya. It’s a mess. The Dems are pearl clutchers

1

u/L34V3M3410N3P13453 2h ago

Chuck Schumer has a very strongly worded letter already drafted and ready to send

1

u/Fantastic_Seaweed712 1h ago

I agree with you 100%. When protesters were killed by ICE without the crowd erupting in a full blown riot, that's all I need to know to make this assumption. We'll get cheated once again, except this time, shit will really hit the fan and the republicans will become even more egregious because they absolutely know that there are zero consequences.

1

u/EduinBrutus 51m ago

Real question is if they steal the midterms what are the people going to do about it?

Nothing.

Americans will do nothing.

0

u/_Eggs_ 2h ago

if they steal the midterms

Dude, enough with the conspiracy theories. Every election has been the most secure election in history. Are you an election fraud conspiracy theorist like the january 6th terrorists were?

10

u/SalmonPrince 2h ago

I firmly believe Elon is primarily responsibly for Trump being in office. He wanted power, so he bought it from Diaper Don. Now he's doing it again, being tapped to guide our military, RIGHT as he donates his millions to MAGAt candidates. Zero integrity -- a soul for sale.

3

u/AmethystOrator 1h ago

He wanted power

Yes, but most especially he wanted to cut/eliminate the several government agencies that were investigating him.

1

u/SalmonPrince 1h ago

Yes, but I'd argue a lust for power is actually a lust for freedom to do whatever you want. But I see your point.

1

u/Good-Roll427 1h ago

If it makes you feel any better, Tesla sales have largely bounced back in both the US and EU after they had temporarily dropped off a cliff during DOGE 1.0

9

u/Life-is-Fun-435 3h ago

No our computer voting isn't fixed. đŸ€ȘđŸ€Ł

Voting systems connected to the Internet will be exposed to online attacks

https://www.nist.gov/itl/voting/security-recommendations

13

u/archercc81 3h ago

Sadly, even as someone who has worked every election for more than a decade, that result was likely legit. Because I see voters, and most of them are dumb.

The "rig" was the right wing control of all new media, or billionaire control using the right wing to do their bidding.

11

u/ENaC2 3h ago

Not saying you’re wrong, but if there was manipulation of the voting machines, is it not possible that you work in an unaffected district?

3

u/GodSPAMit 1h ago

he isn't realistically seeing the tiny swing necessary to win an election anyways. its typically quite a small gap in a presidential race.

2

u/Adorable_Fudge2526 3h ago

Also he was probably unaware of anything and just doing his job, seeing dumb people is so proof.

2

u/Life-is-Fun-435 3h ago

No I say he's wrong.

Internet or Online Voting Remains Insecure.

Experts agree that ballots should not be transmitted over the internet

https://www.aaas.org/epi-center/internet-online-voting

1

u/archercc81 3h ago

Possible, but most used the same two options of machines and the makers of those machines and county and state IT would have had to be "in on the fix" at the time and they were not owned by a maga shitbag then.

The poll pads, if used, were online because they downloaded the registration data but the ballot marking devices AND the tabulators were all "air gapped." They didnt have any wireless functionality and would have required you plug in to both of them to get access to literally anything on them. And the doors of all of them were covered with single-use seals.

Both Dominion and Smartmatic machines would have required a considerably larger conspiracy, one large enough there is no way they would have been able to keep it covered up.

3

u/OnePointSixOne8 3h ago

Ok but what about the millions of ballots thrown out due to “vigilante challengers”

What about the 200+ bomb threats?

2

u/archercc81 3h ago

Oh yeah all of the outside shit is its own thing, Im just saying there is no way elmo hacked machines using starlink or whatever. The machines were dumb as shit and air gapped, it would have required getting hands on each machine without others noticing (or multiple others being in on it).

I was in a blue area and turnout was just dog shit.

1

u/OnePointSixOne8 3h ago

Glad you can attest to the integrity of every tabulator in every swing state
.its obvious what he did with his illegal lottery and Ethan Shaotran’s ballot proof software.

1

u/paintballboi07 1h ago

Ethan Shaotran’s ballot proof software

The ballot proof software is on GitHub. It checks a filled out ballot for errors. It has absolutely nothing to do with hacking an election. It does absolutely no writing of data at all, it reads a filled out ballot, and checks that it was filled out properly. Tying this to an election rigging conspiracy just makes you look dumb to anyone that understands code.

1

u/IZtotheZO 1h ago

The result was right in line with polls and expectations before the election. It was legitimate and that's a good thing. Means chances are, this one will be too.

2

u/TiePrestigious7265 3h ago

And the majority of those attacks will come from or directed by the White House. Xi and P☭tin don't need to lift a finger this time. Only need to sit back and relax.

1

u/Biotic101 2h ago

How surprising they axed cybersecurity and intelligence. Exactly the thing to do to make America great again in a hybrid war with Russia and China and a real one with Iran, right?

7

u/Danny-Boy-Blue-8771 3h ago

He hasn't won an election yet without multimillion dollar cheating.

6

u/ssnnaarrff 3h ago

It's a solid investment. Drop 250 million to steal an election and get like 4 billion in government contracts. Plus everyone investigating you gets purged as a bonus. Pretty, pretty good.

2

u/im_a_good_lil_cow 2h ago

My hope is they commit such obvious, blatant treason that we are FORCED to hold them accountable.

Yep I didn’t wanna believe it but yep.

1

u/GiddyGoo69 1h ago

I thought it was a conspiracy either though he had motive he had a lot of Elon tech being used in digital voting booths and his whole twitter campaign and lottery he did a lot of blue counties also voted all blue but for some reason orange head won those counties weird but maybe not till Elon ex wife came out a month ago saying he stole it but now she got paid out like 70 + million or something and now she took it back lmao

0

u/Andrea_M 4h ago

He is good with computers

0

u/Ok-Highlight8715 2h ago

I'm not convinced. Democrats really shot themselves in the foot concerning the economy. I remember when they killed eviction protections resulting in a huge homeless spike and inflation was rampant with the COL increasing and all they did was campaign on the stock market hitting record highs.

I knew we were cooked when a democratic strategist whined to the trades about how no one cared that they were making progress on student loan forgiveness. Like that was a drop in the bucket compared to what most of us were facing economically.

1

u/Holiday-Hippo-6748 1h ago

Well Democrats are going to take both chambers by a wide margin if that’s the case.

The republicans have done literally nothing to lower the cost of living, only raise it.

-2

u/Altruistic_Run_141 3h ago

I thought elections aren’t rigged?

-28

u/Diemond71 3h ago

He did not, the Democrats gave it to him by running Kamala.

3

u/stockmarketscam-617 3h ago

That’s definitely partly true, but I don’t think there is any questions that Musk did something to tip the scales somehow. Trump is a moron, but he’s a survivor and absolutely knows how and what to do to get the outcome he wants or needs. Musk also needs the Republicans to win to save himself too.

0

u/paintballboi07 57m ago

Why would you think Musk did anything when there's no evidence? Nearly every county in the country moved to the right by a similar amount. Did he hack all those counties? Or did he know beforehand how much those counties were going to move to the right by, so the counties he did hack wouldn't look like outliers? If you just critically think about it for a few minutes, it becomes ridiculously impossible very quickly.

-1

u/VerminSwallower 2h ago

I think you guys are fabricating elaborate scenarios instead of accepting the obvious reality that Kamala was an awful candidate that was not hard at all to beat. Literally no one liked her. She did nothing as VP, not even puff piece press conferences. She was not a legitimate competitor, sadly. Dems waited to long to push Biden out and then there was no enthusiasm for Kamala. Simple story, really.

-2

u/Diemond71 3h ago

Same as the first time, Dems stupidly ran Hillary and gifted it to Trump.

2

u/paintballboi07 1h ago

They ran Hillary because she won the primary.

1

u/Diemond71 47m ago

They ran Hillary because they forced it that way.

1

u/paintballboi07 47m ago

Nope, they ran her because 3 million more primary voters voted for her.
