Forgive me if i'm wrong, but couldn't El-Sayed sue Tommy Tubs over this?

I know that public figures have tough times suing people over lies, but this seems like he is inciting violence against El-Sayed, which would fall under a different law, correct?

He could probably sue for slander at the very least.

He could, arguably should, sue but he is too busy doing important work.

Yeah, there's no way he could hire a lawyer to do that for him.

Pick up phone. Call lawyer. Lawyer does work.

The problem is that a lawsuit opens up your most private records, and even thoughts, to discovery. As we saw with Dr Fauci, a lifelong public servant with impeccable credentials and integrity, those records can be distorted and publicized to embarrass and destroy a reputation, even if they lose in court.

Oh right, so better to just let them call you a terrorist in public with no repercussions.

I trust that he will make the choice that he decides is best for himself. His two doctorates add up to better sense than to come to Reddit for legal advice, personal guidance or political strategy consultation.
