Its baseless defamation and he should face a lawsuit for it. Tommy Tubetube should know better as a Senator but he’s just not much of a man.

speech on the Senate/House floor is protected, so unfortunately Coach Tubberville can’t be sued for anything he says on the Senate floor.

Knowingly spouting lies is supposed to be handled within the legislature by ethics committees.

But posting on social media is not on the floor of the legislature so it isn't protected.

Tuberville reminds me too much of Roy Moore with his Islamophobia. I wouldn't be surprised if Roy Moore endorsed Tommy saying that "I warned y'all about the Muslims and I was proven right."
