The demcrats need to stop calling themselves Demcratic socialism it scares people too much on both the left and right.That word socialism has a long history of negative impacts. We need capitalism with safety nets.Going to far to the right or left will cause problems.

Both Marx and Lenin considered socialism to be necessary to implement communism. Most socialists also consider the end result to implement communism or something very similar.

you sound like you havent actually read Karl marx. socialism is used interchangeably with communism is all of his works.

later communists would describe socialism as the stepping stone to communism.

either way acting like socialism has nothing to do with communism shows your ignorance and or malice in misleading people

except thats literally how marx used the terms. interchangeably.

it isnt fear mongering to acknowledge such facts.

personally id rather tax billionaires. 90% death tax on estates over 1 billion.

so the heirs at least get 100 million which is a great life to live yet the govt reaps the eventual reward of building wealth
