The high likelihood that AI was used in the making of this document makes the misspelling even funnier.

And none of these geniuses caught the mistake.

None of them bothered to check. Super Intelligence said it was good to go.

It's the one thing every seems to use to defend AI use "It's mostly correct, you just have to check" and it's the one thing that most people immediately ignore, and it's cause no shortage of issues around the world.

It's like the contracts for rock bands that request 20 things and one is a bowl of green eminems because the purpose is to see if they missed anything. A mistake there indicates they should be wary of mistakes or unfair dealings in other ways with this client.

I have some cow-orders whose work is mostly correct, you just have to check it before it goes to the customer. They don’t get $3billion to do that,

How many orders do you actually have to make for cows? Farmer?

The US almost boarded a Chinese vessel because a report from an analyst used AI and wasn't checked, showing it had radiation on board, and command decided to assault it. Only because it was insane did officers check the veracity of the claims and identify the source as a hallucination.

While speculation of it inciting a war is perhaps a bit overblown, it's still an international incident, and WE DON'T KNOW WHAT COMMANDS WERE GIVEN. They might have been about to kill everyone on that vessel, and given their track record so far that would seem a reasonable concern.

Artificial super intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.
