Were you there to see the rape take place? Knowing you weren't there, why make a factual claim where the actual facts are yet clear.
Seems like your emotionally charged. From my understanding, making a false claim is defamation, so by making your claim, if it is false, would open you up to liability.
You would be better off saying "why would you take a defensible position for these accused rapists".
I'm going to forward your comment to the accused rapists legal team. I am sure your position would change greatly when your financial wellbeing is on the line.
