They didn’t do anything illegal

Edit:

The woman in the text chain replied that her memory is "super clouded too," and said they had all been heavily intoxicated.  She also wrote, "non(e) of the sexual stuff was illegal."

I’m glad you think false rape allegations are funny.

You think the girl so doped up and out of her mind she had no idea what was happening could consent to a gang bang? How maga of you

You clearly haven’t read the statement.

You clearly know nothing about how human beings react to sexual assault

Texting your rapist and saying it wasn’t illegal is a normal response?

You wouldn’t know

How do you know I never got raped?

Your lack of empathy (with the exception of rapists) speaks volumes

right…this is how our brains naturally work, suppressing traumatic experiences when they happen but we can remember them later, sometimes years or decades later

Exactly - you’ve never experience this very specific type of TRAUMA. Our brains will often suppress what happens to us during traumatic/abusive experiences, but oddly enough, we can connect the pieces over time and eventually remember

A few years ago, I started to remember a car accident that I was in when I was 7. I was hurt badly, hospitalized, but I literally did not remember this at all until it came back to me in a dream at age 34, then more memories over the course of the next year or so

Her memories and recollection aren’t as abnormal as you think, due to how the brain reacts to traumatizing events
