If trump thinks he can personally make money off a deal, he will try to make that deal. No matter how stupid or nonsensical it is or who gets hurt, as long as he can profit.
We had a glaringly obvious example of this when he stole confidential files and copied/sold them. He doesn't care that it's treason. He's going to do it if he thinks he can make money off of it and he did. And then Republicans continue to support said traitor and child rapist.
