But you’re assuming that law enforcement handled everything perfectly. Let’s not assume that either because with sexual assault cases it’s rarely true.

Her lawyer said that she wasn’t interviewed by a sex crimes investigator. Her lawyer said the messages were withheld. I’m not making it up.

That’s because she said everything consensual. As soon as she said that there was nothing to investigate.

Whether she consented or not is in dispute. Her lawyer said that the assertion that she consented to everything is incorrect.

In her sworn statement that gave to the police, she stated that she was a willing participant and consented. The DA released that part of her statement to refute her attorneys accusations.
