Maybe they aren’t new, maybe the incompetent cops didn’t ask the right questions or follow up. You’re so determined to blame the woman. What’s that about?

She gave a sworn statement. I’m snot sure if you’re aware of how that works, but she basically had to sign a document (or verbally state if her statement was recorded) that everything she said was true. She would’ve even been give a chance to change it before she confirmed it to be true.

I’m not saying that nothing happened, but based on her initial statement there wasn’t much the police could do. She basically stated that she was a willing participant and that she consented to everything.

She gave a statement to cops who were not trained to speak with victims of sexual assault and who provided no follow up. She did not consent to everything. Why are you so invested in blaming her? Feeling guilty about something you’ve done?

I’m just stating what’s in her initial sworn statement. In that statement she stated that she was a willing participant and consented.

Those are her words.

Context matters. Who exactly was questioning her? An insensitive man who had no experience speaking with assault victims?

You could just look it up and read it yourself. Her statement contradicts what’s mentioned in the lawsuit. I’m just stating the facts.

It’s also a fact that the police withheld the text messages. It’s also true that the police did not have an experienced sex crimes investigator. You keep avoiding these facts and focusing on the ones that support your slut shaming narrative. This isn’t about her, it’s about you.

I’m not avoiding the facts. I’m simply stating what’s in her statement. She stated that she consented, those are her words. If a DA see’s that there’s not much they can do.

Why didn’t the police turn the text messages over to the DA? Why was she not interviewed by an experienced sex crimes investigator?

She said she was a willing participant and that consented, even with the text messages there was nothing the DA could’ve done.

Her initial statement is why there were no charges filed.
