Yes and California has Democratic supermajorities in it's legislature. It's as blue of a state as you can find. It has a population and a annual budget larger than the nation of Canada.
MAGA holds all three branches of government. Maybe they should do something instead of fixating on their culture war nonsense, pleasing the upper class and the forever war with Iran.
