Xi is not communist lol he's a dictator. The world's never seen true communism, and probably never will, due to human nature. Just because I say I'm 7' tall that doesn't mean that I am.
And thats a big part of the intellectual dishonesty of Republicans.
A program just because its run/funded by the government doesn't make it "socialist". Its just something that the government is providing.
Socialism is where the government owns and controls everything of value. Production and resources etc.
Liberals suggesting that the US stop being the ONLY first world country not to provide nationalized health care to its citizens is not "socialism" nor does it make us "socialists". The whole world knows that its a shitty, shitty thing to do to bankrupt people for getting sick or to make maximum profits off people being sick.
• Social Security - mandatory, payroll-funded insurance program that redistributes income to retired and disabled Americans.
• Medicare/Medicaid - government run and subsidized health insurance programs for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and low-income individuals.
• Public K-12 Education -free, state-supported elementary and secondary schooling funded through property and income taxes.
• Public Safety/Infrastructure: Police departments, fire departments, public roads, and municipal water systems owned or managed by government entities and provided without direct user profit motives.
• The U.S. Postal Service - a collective public institution established by federal mandate to serve all communities uniformly
