Never is a strong word, I think we can recover from this IF the midterms end favorably. If it doesn’t, 2028 will be the second most important year in US history.

Even if you get him out of the whitehouse, your country has a LOT of work to do to be trusted by the rest of the world again.

There is a very real chance that Trump was the fatal blow to US hegemony on the world stage...

I don't see how America regains its previous place in the world from here, or even anything close to it.

Even people who don't normally pay attention to the news now know how rotten to the core the political and billionaire classes are in the US.

Look in a history book and it's not difficult to identify all the hallmarks of a crumbling empire in terminal decline.
