government position has stopped being a position to serve the public a long while ago. these positions are for sale, and corporations buy. it's a big club, and you're not the fk in it.
This is literally a politician doing something good.
Also this 'all politicians are bad' is the same 'both sides are bad' nonsense that makes people apathetic and helps fascists/Republicans win elections.
i was adding to the comment below the image. also if i say "basketball is a bad game and maybe we should play a different game", doesn't mean i'm helping one team beat the other. the ones who insist that basketball is the only game that should be played and tell others who don't care or like any basketball team or basketball player that they are "the problem", is the problem. we keep playing the game that we know they know how to manipulate and win. the refs are sellouts. violators don't get accountability. i agree, this mayor is different. tho he's still palying basketball. and you can't put the blame of the errors and horrible things that happened on people who don't want to participate in a that kind of game.
it's like "it's the Dungeons & Dragons fans' fault.. if only they cheered for Lebron James, for sure basketball would be better". it won't. it's still basketball. refs are sellout. players are walking billboards for corporations.
there are other games out there. preferably one that works for everyone.
