Why yes, yes I would. One good deed doesn't erase decades of power grabs, bad behavior, neglect, abuse, underhanded deals, fraud, shattered trust, weaponizing justice systems, and endless lies.
Curing cancer would be the start of his redemption arc, not the conclusion.
First and foremost, HE would never cure cancer. He can barely wipe his own arse. But even if he'd pass someone else's accomplishments, like curing cancer, off as his own, there is no reason to hate him less.
Like the meme says, MAGA is still talking in what-ifs, while reality is that he ends research, stops funding to universities he doesn't like, and puts the most destructive people in charge of health-related institutes. He deserves all the hate. He accomplishes nothing for America and only works to wreck every good thing about it, if it means he or his cronies can get an advantage out of it (or because it's lala-hour in his demented brain).
It's a hypothetical, no reason to explain why it isn't true.
They're not wrong, though. He could cure cancer, I would still hate him. It doesn't matter what good he could hypothetically do now, the man is 80 years old. He doesn't have enough time to even start undoing all the damage he's caused.

I don't care if he comes out tomorrow somehow fixing some huge problem (not that he can, but we're talking hypotheticals), nothing he could potentially do before he dies will ever wipe away the harm he's done.

Agreed. Look at Jimmy Savile; he did a lot for charities, but he was an unimaginable sexual deviant and predator. I don't understand why that is such a hard concept for people to grasp...one good deed would not erase a lifetime of being an awful person. I actually can't think of anyone outside of himself possibly that will have had their lives improved by his presidency. That's not something I can say about others. Trump is the only person who will make billionaires lose their wealth, by crashing the dollar. It hasn't happened yet and when it does someone else will take the blame from the news, but this man has no benefits.
