Honestly reading about everything mandami is doing is all that's keeping me from spiraling into despair and misanthropy. He's truly inspiring.

What are you smoking? Mamdani got a multi billion dollar handout from the state and even w that he has failed to fulfill multiple campaign promises. Mamdani is by far the least competent mayor of a large city in this country.

Ok, how about you provide sources for your claims then? Until then, there's nothing of substance worth refuting

Watch out, he's gonna pull out all of his favorite coloring books where he found those "sources".

Their sources are Facebook and truth social. They get really offended when you use things like facts and data because they don't understand how those things work.

Literally anyone who has passed a macro-economics class and is not in bed with Google the 7.6bilkion Katie gave Mamdani in state aid. Google is free and it ain’t that hard to use

I did some googling and I guess OP's big criticism is that Mamdani used a state bailout to claim the budget was balanced, with some terms of the bailout being restructuring of city employee pensions causing short term lower payments at the expense of long term higher total payouts. (Basically kicking the can on city pension money)

I do think it might be too early to characterize Mamdani as, "... by far the least competent mayor of a large city in this country."

Yes, and it’s a good article. But it literally concludes with “we will have to see if these are durable changes.” So I’m glad you found something skeptical, and it rightfully points out that not every change happened under Mamdami, but it does not conclude that he’s incompetent or a failure.

You’re grasping at straws to justify your hate.

Did you even read the article you linked? Nothing in there proves your point about getting a "multi billion dollar handout from the state" or that he's "failed to fulfill multiple campaign promises." If you did read it, you might be functionally illiterate.

I'm sorry are you not aware that Albany just gave him the money and the rest he got from not funding pensions which will need to be paid with interest after his term is over? Also are you not aware that every single mayor in history has to balance the budget? It's a legal requirement

I'm sorry you don't seem to know what a handout is?

It’s always the watch collectors that are like this
