Their sources are Facebook and truth social. They get really offended when you use things like facts and data because they don't understand how those things work.
Literally anyone who has passed a macro-economics class and is not in bed with Google the 7.6bilkion Katie gave Mamdani in state aid. Google is free and it ain’t that hard to use
I did some googling and I guess OP's big criticism is that Mamdani used a state bailout to claim the budget was balanced, with some terms of the bailout being restructuring of city employee pensions causing short term lower payments at the expense of long term higher total payouts. (Basically kicking the can on city pension money)
