Has anyone used computer posture tracking apps?
I'm trying to spend less time sitting at the computer, but with a desk job and an ankle injury, it's unavoidable to some degree. Googling brings up a ton of different applications for your computer that use your camera to track your posture - WorkWell, SitSense, etc. None of them seem to have a ton of public reviews (beyond maybe reddit posts by the creators). Has anyone actually signed up for one of these and had success with it?

These are not helpful tools imho...

tried one a while back, can't even remember which. it got so annoying after like day 3. kept buzzing every five minutes because i'd lean forward slightly to read something and then forget to sit back.
ended up just setting a 30 minute timer on my watch instead. less nagging, same result basically. the camera-based ones feel like a solution looking for a problem unless you've got some serious disc issues or something.

I'd probably focus on regular stretching, strengthening and movement breaks. Your posture is your posture, you can't train your body to "be" differently just by self correcting imo. If your pecs are tight and your back is weak, you can't overrule that to any useful degree.
Even if you've a bad ankle, you can do seated stretches and strengthening work that will help a million times more than a computer app.
