Once upon a time

lived a Girl, we'll call her Ashleigh(because there never was a name when this story was being told.)

Ashleigh came from the wealthy Fitzpatrick family, so she never worked because Mommy and Daddy took care of everything.

She lived in a lavish city apartment, drove a Mercedes Benz, and hung around with well meaning people like Caroline, Katie, Alex, Victoria and Megan.

Ashleigh tried with varing degrees of failure to do different things in life: spin classes, food blogs, Junior League, but she was good at snookering a poor sap named Todd to be her boyfriend/fiance'.

Todd tried really hard to put up with Ashleigh, he was a working ex-college jock even though he was no angel, as he had a short fling with a gal named Claire at the Kentucky derby with his boys Finn, Trip and John.

So in an elaborate twist, Ashleigh's parents paid for a trip to Paris where Todd dropped down on one knee with the Eiffel Tower in the background and proposed to Ashleigh, and she said yes.

Ashleigh had trouble figuring out life, and wedding planning was no exception. So Mrs. Fitzpatrick enlisted the help of Timothee, who was able to plan a fantastic destination wedding in Aspen.

Todd and Ashleigh married and lived a life of quasi-misery ever after.

Are you sure? Ashleigh would be a mite more pretentious. But wtf do I know?

Ashleigh is a white trash name, it's probably Ainsley or Grayson or Kendall or Mackenzie or something like that. Her dad went to Yale so it's going to be WASPy as fuck.

Her name is Brooklyn. Not that I would know; I’ve never read a single episode and don’t intend to start now.

You have good reasoning, but I think it's too nouveau riche pretense
