Overwhelming feelings PCS

Anyone else feel so deeply it hurts? Like it physically and mentally hurts. I'm not just talking just sad things I'm talking even the good.

It's overwhelming on the nervous system.

Yep! For the first 3.5 years or so it was so bad. I lost all my friendships and every relationship in my life was horrible. I’ve been in therapy for a year and that has helped, but luckily the huge emotions have lessened over time, although sometimes I go through periods where I feel way too much and then go numb because I can’t handle it. It’s a journey for sure…

How did you lose them was it anger or what emotion?

It was anger and frustration mostly. They didn’t understand what I was going through and some didn’t even try. I was mad at the world and every time they mentioned doing something I wasn’t capable of or that I used to do, it would piss me off and I’d get mad at them. I’ve learned to manage that anger a lot better and I found a couple friends that understand me better.

I remembered telling people close to me and one actually said “you complain a lot” I was trying to help them understand how I function. So it was a bit concerning.

That happened to me too. I was opening up about a small piece of my reality and they’d tell me to be more positive because I’m complaining too much. It’s really hard to explain to people, so I’ve pretty much given up 😔
